Jill wasn’t with Biden at the Juneteenth concert, and the concert footage showed Joe not moving or speaking, frozen in place.

Jill’s not in Italy. She has been holding Joe’s hand constantly in public making sure he goes where he should and ensuring he doesn’t wander away. Jill’s absence is why the Italian PM had to step in and be Joe’s minder. I don’t necessarily think Joe is being an ass; he’s doing the best he can. He should not be doing what he’s doing, he’s got chronic health issues and memory and attention deficits. He’s just really old and should be relaxing at his house in DE with his family. I feel sorry for him. How freaking embarrassing would it be to be the president of the United States and bust your ass in public in front of cameras time after time? Falling at his age is dangerous and it hurts. Every time he falls, the consequences could be catastrophic for his health.

It's all very embarrassing, but do keep insisting he and the soldier were engaged in conversation. They weren't. Meloni had to gently guide him back to the group.

I think any and all Democrats insisting he is well and fully capable of running for another term are disgraceful - and I include Jill Biden. That’s why it’s weak as water Biden can’t even command the attention of a single soldier from a few feet away.

It looked like an extended family was taking pictures with great grandpa on visiting day at the nursing home. You could see the leaders move toward and around Biden for the photo while he put on his glasses in a ridiculous manner. Who puts on glasses to take a photo with a group of world leaders who are not wearing glasses?

+1 They are so excited to see that our president can’t even participate in a simple photo op without having a female PM keep an eye on him and keep him from wandering away. Biden is lucky the Italian PM was kind enough to help him. The other world leaders are uncomfortable with Biden’s behaviors.

This. I'm not a Democrat but I hate what the GOP has become in recent years and I voted for Biden. My dad has dementia and is about the same age as Biden. I thought the plan was for Biden to defeat Trump and then step aside after one term and I think he should have stuck with that. This is just painful to watch.
