also heard his name was a placeholder on ncsl. parents know this is a temp
coach, and JH came and watched some of their tourney games as a spectator.

so, just in limbo? soccer purgatory?

Don't hold your breath.

I've heard that he's personally told numerous parents this winter he's showing up 'next week' at Revolution only for his start date to be repeatedly pushed back until Revolution got a replacement coach and then radio silence until last week from JH when it started all over again telling some parents on the DL that he's very definitely showing up eventually this season. Where is he? Not at Revolution that's for sure. He's not an employee there and definitely not coaching.

I feel bad for those kids/parents. You got bait and switched by your coach and new club. Hopefully the 'stand in' coach isn't a glorified rec coach.

Club already got his players/teams to come over and he’s not coaching. Who needs JH now? Hilarious.

Basically. None of his older players/parents are mad about it like the younger ones. They don't know any better yet that they dodged a bullet losing him as a coach.

Dude, JH not being there is a bonus for his players. He was not well liked

We are thrilled. Hope the younger players get some well deserved coaching with someone new and forget all about JH. Good riddance!

Be careful what you wish for. If you end up with NE as the “coach” of your team, you’ll be begging for JH to come back.

NE has said several times he'd prefer to only have women coaching the girls' teams. Wishful thinking he'll remove himself from coaching them!

Maybe they can find LS's old best female coach RT and bring her to VRSC!

Literally from VRSC website:

Years in Coaching: 6

Playing Experience: Niko Eckart brings over 15 years of experience. He played for the youth Bavarian selection for U-16 and made his first team by the age of 17. At 24, he moved to the United States and played for the local NPSL in his free time.

Fun Fact: Niko’s Dad is a two-time Olympian!

Wonder what this means for VRSC’s efforts to attract FCV GA players.

Maybe helps get some 2007 players on her team but why would it impact any of the other age groups?
