I was thinking the opposite. At our mediocre public high school a 4.0 is barely 50th percentile. |
A fight is 2 people engaging in a fight. Assault is when 1 person assaults another person. It’s different |
You need therapy’s

You cannot be serious. |
Those who are not parents but have to take up the jobs of those on maternity/paternity leave should get the same leave because they had to do the work of two. |
I agree with one exception. I'm still allowed to spank my wife. |
You mean belief in God or Gods. Because plenty of other beliefs are taught in school. Not math, not reading, science, history, just straight up beliefs. |
Sometimes I really wonder how some of you made it through middle school and beyond. Because you lack all logic. You think students are not traumatized by witnessing a fight but what you call an assault is a no no. JFC |
I got into fights all through grade school and only a couple in high school. No teachers intervened and no police were called. No one was permanently harmed. It's how we settled things back in the day. Argue with another boy, and a fight for after school, sometimes during school was instantly arranged and you better show up. It really was no big deal. |
Yes, yes, yes, YES! |
| People should marry those of the same religion or no religion. My mom was Catholic + dad was Jewish. Terrible! |
Agree. Public schools would be so much better without all the catering to the IEP’s and 504’s. Pretty soon those kids and poor kids will be all that are left in the publics because everyone else will have left. |
Yes, my kid is expected to work to his ability. C is an F in my house because I know him. He thinks we are really easy going compared to his friend’s parents. It’s all relative. We have never had to take away privileges. Will this work for you? No idea because I don’t know your kids. |
Awwww poor rich kids. Life is so hard for them. GOOD RIDDANCE! |
Oh puhleeze … our DD had an IEP and is now doing a PhD in a rarefied stem field … her BF had an IEP and now works for NASA. Many many students with IEPs are truly brilliant (gifted talented with learning differences) … if they get the supports they need when they are young, they usually have a lot to contribute to society. If they don’t, they are much more prone to being life long burdens on either their families or the state. It is a win win for them and society to help them to flourish. |
