What non political controversial position do you hold?

What shall we argue about tonight?

What controversial position do you hold?

Rule: It may not be political in any way shape or form.

I will go first, you can dip french fries into a Wendy’s Frosty, but try that at McDonald’s and you should be forced to leave the country.

Also, The Princess Bride is a horrible movie!

I haven't read or seen any Harry Potter stuff, and despite being a NY Jew I never watched Seinfeld because I didn't find him funny and thought his voice was annoying and they were all whiny.

I don't like sushi. And I think the meatballs in grape jelly are beyond disgusting.

Hate Uggs, Crocs and Tevas.

Uh, how is that controversial? People with autism struggle to get through life. Wouldn't it be nice if they didn't have to?

McDonald’s french fries are the worst fries. Their caramel frappe, however, is my favorite coffee drink.

I don’t think screens are intrinsically bad tor kids and may be tremendously benefit. To ne, it’s just another format of media and what matters is the content they’re used to convey.

I don’t think there should be year round school and I think summer assignments should be abolished. The kids who most need the review of the least likely to do it and the class will have to do some review anyway. Meanwhile, kids who put in extra effort to master the content so they don’t need to review are the most likely to be conscientious and grind it out anyway. I adored school growing up, was excited about learning new things, and eagerly anticipated the start of every school year. By the end of every year I was burnt out, just forcing myself to keep going until summer break. Kids need that break to do something besides academics. Summer sports, family trips, hanging out with friends, vegging out in front of screens, being bored, etc., all add extra dimensions to their experience and will let them recharge for more academics. And as for the argument that year-round school would avoid burnout by spacing out breaks, I think it would mean the kids just wouldn’t get a break at all. Aside from summer assignments, they usually had to study over Christmas and had homework/projects/studying over Spring Break. They need a real vacation where they can completely avoid school.

I miss polycotton blends. It’s hard to find clothes that don’t have to be ironed.

I wish they’d stop making women’s dress shoes pointed. Women do not have pointed feet. I’ve had one pair of rounded-toe heels and they were so much more comfortable.

While I loved the Princess Bride, I hated Seinfeld and the Golden Girls. Seinfeld, other than his little stand-up clips, was just completely boring. Golden girls seemed mean and crass.

I like shopping at big box stores. I think Walmart has better quality and prices than Target.

It’s very controversial these days actually. I have lots of friends who would shun me if they knew I held that opinion.

I think pre marital sex is a must. You can overlook a lot of faults but should never have to have a lifetime of bad sex.

Curing autism is such a false narrative. You can’t treat people without their consent. Anyone who’s well enough to refuse a treatment they don’t want doesn’t need to worry.

I have no idea what you’re trying to say. If there was a cure for autism I would give it to my child. I wish there was a cure.
