+1. I can’t believe the stupidity of the posts here! And I’m a woman. All the draft opinion does is send back the matter to the 50 states! We’re no better off in the current formulation. If you don’t like what your state us doing you vote the guts out of office, move, or go to the state where you can get the procedure you want. This is not rocket science.

We are about to be stripped of a fundamental right we all held as americans for almost 50 years and maybe our daughters as well depending on how long it takes to fight this war once again. That is an outrage. Not something to just shrug off. You are weak.

Do you know what fundamental means or do you just insert where you want?

DP: I consider bodily autonomy to be a fundamental right also.

As does everyone who isn’t a misogynistic POS.

Wrong. It’s a right but not a fundamental right. No matter how much you want to believe or not. You can’t simply say something is a thing when it’s not.

It’s one of the most basic rights. To control your own body.

Getting an abortion is not controlling your body. Try again.

Forcing me to do something with my body against my will is a huge violation.

No one is forcing you to get pregnant apart from being raped.

There is no exception for rape. We will not be forced and we not have our daughters forced to carry unwanted pregnancies.

You are not forced to become pregnant, nor are your daughters. Is so, contact the police and report a rape.

We are not giving birth to unwanted babies and neither are our children.

Good, get on birth control.

Oh hell yes.

birth control is not one hundred percent effective and is certainly not available to a rape victim and we will not be forced to carry unwanted pregnancies.

No thank you to states trying to force unwanted pregnancies.

Birth control is highly effective and you can double up with a condom. You are full of excuses.
States are not forcing anyone to get pregnant. How can a state force an unwanted pregnancy. You and someone else are responsible for an unwanted pregnancy.

Sorry but women end unwanted pregnancies. They always have and they always will. No matter what inanity you try to impose.

DP: I believe in my right to decide not to have my body continue growing a fetus into a baby whether I was raped or not, whether my birth control methods were effective or not, whether the pregnancy endangers my health or not. I do not believe any 'mistakes' you believe I made force my body into growing a fetus into a baby. You cannot force your arbitrary religious definition that a fetus is an independent person on me. I'm 100% happy to let your beliefs govern all your decisions. Not mine.

So then you have no problem with what the Supreme Court may decide either way.

Just because we will assert our basic rights regardless against intrusion, doesn't mean we don't demand our rights protected.

It’s only a right if the state or federal government has it as a right.

Bottom line

Sending girls to out of state colleges in Red states after Republcians win in 2024 which is pretty much a given. They own all the election workers now so your vote in those states won't matter.

Here's what is going to happen beleive me or not.
First all red states
Women will lose all rights and zero birth control including no condoms, and pregnancy tests to leave the states and homicide charges.
After 2024 Federal rules Abortion illegal and birth control and all women's rights go. You like your credit cards ladies better start asking a man if you can have one.

You see women's rights in this country are not ratified. When Roe goes then civil rights cases fall.

Sending a daughter to college in a red state is beyond horrific.

Being a woman in the US after 2024 again beyond horrific

That’s usually what happens when you get pregnant. Did you take sex ed or not learn that on your own?

Nope, my body grew it and I can decide if and when it will stop it.

If you can decide then why are you concerned?
