DA vs ECNL vs everything else

Unless her feet grow (and that has slowed down), my daughter wears her cleats til they start to fall apart or the stink is so bad I can't stand it anymore. She gets comfortable in a pair and wants NOTHING to do with new cleats at that point.

For my DD, I'd say over the years we averaged 3 pairs every two years, based on 6-8 hours of practice a week (between clubs and outside training) plus games. Once we tried having her rotate through two different pairs of cleats at a one time but that didn't help the longevity because she soon favored one over the other and wore those most of the time.

We do tend to buy her nice quality cleats as soccer is her passion and a couple hundred dollars a year on equipment (and at this point, cleats are pretty much it) is not unreasonable in the whole scheme of things. Think about how much a new golf club, or tennis racket, or quality lacrosse stick, etc. costs

Maybe be a little early yet to know for sure, but has anyone heard how many Spirit VA players are moving to FCV DA? I've heard of a goalie switching.

Are any FCV DA (not Elite players) moving to Spirit?

Sothe U16/17 goalie.

To each their own. Best of luck to her.

Another excellent job of developing talent at FCV!

I highly doubt that. She's already got her commitment, they love that team, and she's known like 6 of those players from BRYC for years. Just starting rumors?

One of her closest friends committed to Spirit next yea, through *her* recruiting efforts. What makes you think she'd leave?

I posted the answer to the question of "which goalie might that be", and the ensuing follow-ups.

I haven't posed any questions until this one: do you think you and I are the only two people on this forum?
