As an aside, the current presidency and it’s ocdupany are without a doubt one of the worst we’ve seen but let’s not forget how despicable George Bush is . He and his deer in headlights wife voiced their support for Kavanaugh the other day and here we are with a new round of disturbing allegations . Do not normalize Bush under no circumstance .

But you're not bitter.

What’s wrong ? Too intellectually challenged to formulate thoughts ?

I thought he would withdraw Wednesday night/Thursday morning before the hearing, but now I think it might be tomorrow.

We'll see.

He IS withdrawing tomorrow.

I still think the GOP is going to try to ram this through.

Going to be very interesting to learn more about the boys running trains on drunk women

Who could have guessed the GOP's pick for supreme court would be a gang rapist?

It depends on the outcry. He ought to wiithdraw his name. He can’t sit on the court under this cloud. McConnell ought to resign over his handling of this. His conduct has been reprehensible.

McConnell resigning ? Lol , and do what ? Go back to shitty Kentucky ? Let’s face it, the coup on America isn’t going as planned . Also justice Kennedy has a lot of answers to give us . Eventually we’ll get to him but for now let’s get this comically coiffed scumbag away from the Supreme Court .

So, they already knew what a pervert Kavanaugh is and still tried to push him for a Monday voting? GOP is swimming with gunk!

Anonymous wrote:So to sum up, I’m not discounting the Yale party allegation, but what will do him in, I think, is the evidence the tweeting attorney has stated he will present in the coming days regarding the house party allegations. That will dovetail, more or less, with the credibility analysis of the first allegation. There’s no way out of this for Judge K. The rights of the accused must always — always — be respected and faithfully adhered to. I’m an old enough Democrat to know that, and I have been both a prosecutor and a defense attorney. But this is not a civil or criminal trial. The standard for “proving” unfitness is much lower.

I think he is going down. Clear pattern and multiple people to testify, number of potential witnesses growing by the day. The Republicans can fight dirty and bluff all they like -- and they will, if only to bully other women out of coming forward -- but there's no way this can go through without significant political damage to the party and I personally don't see why they would risk it. All for the sake of Trump? Assuming, that is, that many other judges could deliver on Roe v Wade, but the reason he wants K so badly is because K would put him above the law.

If these allegations are true, K belonged to a culture that allowed men to assault and disrespect women in the worst ways under the cover of alcohol. I was not at Yale but saw this happening every weekend at a comparable Ivy. It is so common that the men who participate don't even bother to hide it. As the New Yorker article shows, this kind of incident and others like it were open secrets, known to many present and frequently discussed.

The tide is turning, and there are enough women in power now that we won't just let this roll through like Anita Hill without significant repercussions. Even Harvard is closing its final clubs. Once the truth is out it's very hard to continue repressing it. Men like K got away it with it all these years because everyone looked the other way. But there is no where to hide anymore.

i commend the bravery of these women for speaking out. My thoughts are with them tonight.

Yes indeed. Shout out to the good guys!

+1
I'm still close to several of my high school friends. Thank goodness there were no d*cks like these.

Guess pushing back the hearing worked very well indeed. Republicans got played big time.

Regardless of whether it's tomorrow or soon, it's too late. Everything is all over the internet for posterity and all eternity. Guess he should have thought about his future daughters before he acted.

My vote is he'll drop out by tomorrow morning. The list of questions they'll ask on Thursday is way too much for Collins, Flake, Murkowski, and Corker. He refused to even answer questions about his drinking during the practice sessions.

There will be an investigation on how much Senate Republicans knew about the alleged gang rape and and the Ed Whalen plan, but only after the Republicans lose the House.

I think this nominee has to withdraw to spare his family further embarrassment. Then what happens? He could face criminal prosecution, and will surely face calls to resign from the DC Circuit and bar charges.
