I also saw a post on Twitter with the video of this interaction. TC held her hand to go up two steps. They turn on a landing and go up another 5 steps and he didn't hold her hand. William was just looking back at the crowd and didn't make any kind of face. Y'all are reading way too much into a picture.

Why does she look like she’s aged 10 years since the Caribbean trip last month?

I had that thought as well. But I think that most likely most of her photos have some photoshop which has obscured some of the natural aging process and this event because it is a premier and has non rota photogs is closer to the truth. She also looks much older from her 40th birthday pictures. I think she probably has some sun damage from tanning in her youth and very little body fat.

It really depends on the lighting, too. Older skin looks better in brighter lighting that positioned not to cast shadows. Poor lighting will emphasize every ridge and line.

It can be pretty shocking to see it happening in your own photos!

When people say certain groups age faster than others they weren't kidding. I was shocked when I saw her unphotoshopped jowls. She's only 40!

They've occasionally shown up in photos of her for years. (I remember a thread a few years ago when a poster said, "Poor thing, her face is melting" at one particularly bad photo.) I'm sure it's worse when she's tired or dehydrated. I always thought she might age like Arlen Specter.

She's always done terrible makeup. That heavy blush is doing her no favors. She has nice cheekbones, so it's really unnecessary.

In America we help the elderly or least don't put additional stress on them. Although Tom looks the same age as those two so elderly is 'relative'.

+1 Charles has had that condition for decades. Lady Louise (Edward's daughter) also has the same condition and she's 18 so don't come for me. You can compare the two yourself. It turns her hands bright red and swells her fingers.

Everyone knows that royal couples don’t hold hands when at official events. That’s why any pic of pda or touching is newsworthy: it’s unusual. That doesn’t mean they aren’t in love. FTR, this isn’t limited to the BRF. Other royals operate the same way.

There is definitely protocol regarding not touching the royals. Even family members don’t touch the Queen.
