Link to article explaining the protocol that commoners shouldn’t touch royals unless the Royal initiates—and list of celebrities who didn’t follow the protocol. |
Okay, if you say so. However, I think you're wrong. She also transferred her purse from one hand to the other to clutch TC's hands as she maneuvered the steps with her long gown. |
Posting BS that is easily disapproved is so silly. |
|
Just admit William could care less about his wife's ability to maneuver and go. Tom Cruise was a gentleman and Kate thanked him for that.
|
Thank you, you were a lot less polite than I was, but I agree PPP pulled that protocol crap out of her rear end. |
What’s the alternative when the gentleman next to you extends his hand to assist in a gallant act when surrounded by photogs? Had she ignored the extended hand, the headline with the pic would say, “Duchess Snubs Tom Cruise.” The premise of the haters is that Will hates or simply doesn’t care about his wife, and the pics were used as proof. That’s ridiculous. He isn’t holding her hand because royals rarely do, and Kate didn’t really need help but accepted it rather than risk snubbing. |

Trip on your gown and fall on your face because your DH was not so gallant. |

This link explains why they don’t typically hold hands. |
Seems like one of the more minor results from centuries of inbreeding |
I have something similar, though maybe not as bad as Charles. In my case, it's a byproduct of Raynaud's Syndrome. You lose all circulation in your fingertips in the cold, then the blood comes rushing back into them at some point and it can cause broken blood vessels. Often in the heat, when your blood is really pumping to your extremities, it can make your hands more red due to the burst vessels. I'm an otherwise totally healthy, fit woman in my 30s and have had this since puberty. Not a sign of impending death. |

The really noteworthy news here is that Tom Cruise finally looks like he's aging a little bit. I wonder if the Dorian Gray portrait of him has finally been damaged.
Or maybe it is just truly unflattering lighting, making them both look about a decade older than they normally do. Also, as an aside, I don't know why Kate would wear her hair like that. It's so unflattering and definitely accentuates any aging. She looks so much better with slightly shorter hair and a softer part. |
I love her hair. I think it's one of the best aspects of her look last night. Those long heavy curls and waves that she usually wears look so dated. |
I mean she literally styled her hair like her sister in law. A much shorter cut would look so much better on her. |
| Why does Kate look radiant and youthful in some public photos from the Top Gun premiere, and really gaunt and aged in others? Is it really all photoshop? The difference is really stark, and visible across a whole range of sources so I’m not sure. |
