Agree with all of this. How many different relationships of hers has she referred to in her music as “a masterpiece,” something she’s “willing to die for” or “life would lose all its meaning” without? She’s 34 and every few months she’s torn up about another boy. Really? It is cringe. At this point, it’s like we’re on season 25 of Greys Anatomy.

NP. I will vehemently disagree with you on this. Seinfeld took a while to find its rhythm, but became a smash hit that ended before the fans wanted it to. Seinfeld episodes are on every single day somewhere in syndication. It did benefit from right place/right time, but that doesn't explain it's high popularity then and since.

Now back to Taylor.

Is that a diss? Whatever she is putting out there breaks records every time. There's space in the industry for everyone. Who cares what another artist does.

Her business / marketing team has done a great job of selling her brand. Her fans will buy anything - they don't even assess quality. If its connected to Taylor, they love it. Kylie Jenner's lipstick also broke records and made her rich. Do I think that is because of her incredible talent in creating make-up and her genius intelligence - no. To me, they are similar. Both have great teams around them who created a brand that sells and a fan base who will buy anything related to the brand.

One point in Taylor's favor is that she doesn't just slap her name on crap - makeup, shoes, liquor/wine, etc.

Taylor at least creates her own product.

These two have been together for a lot longer than the public knows about. She sang at his band’s concert last January. And they were hanging out together with their mutual friends at parties and dinners back in 2022.
This album is definitely about Matty, except for So Long, London.
