| How much do you typically spend to eat out per meal? How often do you eat out? Breakast could consist of a donut and coffee, a full breakfast etc. What about snacks? |

Dh and I went out to dinner last night
Shared an appetizer Each got an entree I got two glasses of wine, he drank soda We got a dessert to go Total cost including tip was about $100. That is pretty standard for our "date nights." We don't go out to eat very often. |

I always love the DCUMers who claim they take the whole family out once or twice a week and never spend more than $40.
We can't get out of a restaurant for less than $100. Which is why we don't go very often, and never for breakfast. Paying someone to cook your breakfast is nuts. |
| Typically $35-50. We do lunch twice a month. There was a time when we would go to every hot new place the Post recommended and spend more but we've grown out of it now. |
ha! that's one of my favorite meals for dining out! DH doesn't like, though. |

For two-
$20 something if it's for breakfast Usually $40-60 otherwise (including tip) |
| I love going out for breakfast! We spend between $35 and $65 for a family of four (1 yr old and 4 yr old) for lunch and dinners. |
| No less than $100 and everyone drinks water. 5 of us, 3 teens |
| Usually spend $75-$125 incl tip when we go out - two of us plus toddler DD who might have an appetizer or just pick off our plates. DH almost always orders wine or beer - that drives costs up fast |
| Family of 4, one 11yo one 16yo. We usually spend around $200 with tip. |
| Friday night dinner for 2 adults a 6 year old and 3 year old usually runs about $125 dollars. This includes appetizer for the table, 2-3 cocktails between DH and me, and entrees for everyone. We generally also eat lunch out with the kids on the weekend but that will be about $40 to $50. |
| $50 or 60 for a family of 4. Sometimes the two of us go out to lunch and that is usually less than $30. |
|
We live in SF and if we go out for dinner, it's to disgustingly expensive places. So $250 is pretty standard for a place like Bourbon Steak or Slanted Door. We take the toddler and baby and they eat off our plates - we rarely order any dish specifically for them.
We eat dinner out about once a week. Brunch out most Saturdays - $50? I usually eat lunch I brought from home. DH works from home. |
| We spend about $400-900 in a given month. We eat out several cheap $50 meals throughout the week and more expensive meals on weekends. No kids. |
|
Just two people -- 1 adult and 1 child. When we eat out it is at California Tortilla, a local diner, or our splurge places -- Rio Grande Cafe or Matchbox. Dinner out ranges from $15 total (CT) to $35 (Matchbox). We hit Dunkin Donuts on weekends sometime where our total bill is always $2.10 -- 1 donut for the kid and 1 iced tea for me.
