Remember when Gisele and Tom Brady got together. They were separately huge and as much an equal power couple as we typically see. Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were separately huge and a power couple in the same industry. Kim and Kanye were huge separately and together. Victoria Beckham wasn't nearly as huge as David was separately, but together they're still a power couple. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are famous alone and together, but we all saw how their relationship couldn't weather the constant scrutiny, which they played into constantly! The only ones still together are the Beckhams and Bennifer 2.0, and those have been publicly rocky over the years. These are all celebrities and/or athletes. I'm not counting couples where someone is successful in an industry with less media coverage like business or politics. I see Taylor and Travis coming into this most similarly to Gisele and Tom. The difference is that Gisele made a decision to step back for years to be a hands on mother, which put the relationship and career issues on the back burner for years. I really doubt Taylor would do that. So when Tom finally retired and Gisele was ready to return to the career she loved ... they accepted that they no longer worked as a couple. Taylor and Travis are going to hit that point a lot sooner. |
It is quite a toll. Is it really worth it? |
Taylor is way bigger than Travis. Taylor swift is a household name and a global name. Tom was bigger than Gisele. Gisele was big, to be sure, but Tom was not only a legendary QB but also very good looking. Like you said, she took a step back to let his star eclipse hers. And ultimately she seemed to resent that when he didn’t give her a chance to do the same. I don’t see either of these two giving up their careers in the short term. They also dont strike me as particularly compatible in general. Travis Kelce is not glamorous, east coast, elitist Tom Brady. He is essentially a lumberjack and Taylor is enjoying not feeling like the alpha for once, or at least being with someone who feels less like a beta with her compared to past boyfriends. I don’t see either of them being into it long term, but could be wrong. |

I just listened to the podcast. Travis just does not care what people think. Poor Tree Paine. He must be blowing off some serious steam after the last 6 months. I give them much grace but he needs to get it together after this week for Taylor's sake. |

I mean, this behavior actually pretty normal for certain athletes at championship parades. I went to the Nat's World Series parade and those guys were absolutely hammered and it was pretty funny. Not everyone acts exactly like this but every team always has at least a couple big, super drunk dudes who hog the mic and everyone laughs at them and it's generally seen in a positive light within context. However, Travis is in a different position because of the Taylor situation and the fact that he and his family are pretty massively overexposed at this point. I am not bothered by this behavior but it will wind up spurring online controversy anyway because people are going to pick apart everything he does now. That's just how it is. |

Travis was drunk. Guess what, your beloved Tay Tay gets drunk too. In public. She even writes songs about being drunk. In the back of cabs.

Someone posted on Reddit that she vapes and smokes weed. |

And his kids are there. |
| Low class caveman. Everything about him is ick. And he seems to be having a meltdown from the public scrutiny or something. |
I was looking for this response. And also Alex Ovechkin in the fountain in Georgetown and elsewhere. It happens. |
