I agree. I really don't like that Baldoni and co tried to smear her. And tonight on the red carpet, she looked relieved. The settlement makes all the parties happy, except perhaps the lawyers. It was a good moment for her, and her dress was very much the style she likes (I love the texture, but not the colors).

Did anyone really think this? It's one of the things I actually sort of like about Blake and Ryan. They seemingly take advice from no one, like when they showed up at SNL and joked about the lawsuit or when she was staging pap walks around the same time. Others would try to play it cool but they are absolutely unapologetic in their thirst and zero effs to give about what lawyers or image consultants or whatever have to say. There was no way they were ever going to blink away quietly into the night. Not their style and good for them.

She has hemorrhage over 5 million Instagram followers since all of this and Ryan over 2 million. They are buying up tons of bots to try to make it look less bad. They definitely care. This is their whole life.

It's more than one poster making supportive posts for Blake, and I at least am a real person. I am gleeful largely because I've been called a stupid "Blake bot" like a thousand times on this thread and I am more than happy to watch her take a victory lap and to enjoy you all crashing out because there's nothing you can do about it.

The settlement was predicted by many experts. Most of these cases settle and a trial would’ve served anyone. Blake got the best outcome that she could, but Wayfarer is likely very happy.

The fact of the matter is 10 of the 13 claims were kicked out months ago. It’s highly speculated that another one or two would’ve gotten kicked out and it basically would’ve boiled down to a contract dispute. The lively attorneys wanted a few things to go their way that didn’t this past week and there was some bad headlines about Blake destroying the dailies.

Settling was the best thing absolutely but she wanted the impossible - for someone to tell the world that people really liked her and it was all a big misunderstanding. She didn’t get that and she never will.

She looks stressed at the gala which is understandable. Ryan should’ve been there and he’s a little weasel and the root of most of her problems. The world knows how controlling and petty he is. The Sony executives would write about Blake this way: “she (Ryan)”…

How embarrassing for both of them. Everyone knows he pulled all the strings of this pathetic ordeal. I honestly think he comes off even worse than her on this. But for him to not support her tonight is just cowardly.

She looks totally fine. I disagree Ryan should be there with her -- It think it's meaningful for the photos of her on this day to be of her alone, not standing next to her (more famous and successful) husband.

Same. I've never really liked her as an actress but it's obvious to me that she's not the villain here (I view Baldoni more as a useful idiot, but the other three are absolutely villains). She'll go back to making movies I don't see and sometimes wearing an outfit in public worth looking at even if I don't love it. I'm perfectly fine to watch Team Baldoni collapse under the weight of their own hubris here.

I agree. I really don't like that Baldoni and co tried to smear her. And tonight on the red carpet, she looked relieved. The settlement makes all the parties happy, except perhaps the lawyers. It was a good moment for her, and her dress was very much the style she likes (I love the texture, but not the colors).

Essentially this whole mess has gone away, which is a good thing.

I am personally disappointed in the settlement -- I wanted to get the trial to learn more about what happened. But if the goal today was to turn the page, I think Lively effectively did that.

Did anyone really think this? It's one of the things I actually sort of like about Blake and Ryan. They seemingly take advice from no one, like when they showed up at SNL and joked about the lawsuit or when she was staging pap walks around the same time. Others would try to play it cool but they are absolutely unapologetic in their thirst and zero effs to give about what lawyers or image consultants or whatever have to say. There was no way they were ever going to blink away quietly into the night. Not their style and good for them.

Internet mobs are stunned to see how powerless they actually are. They thought posting negative and mean comments on social media for years like a job would actually work.

Agree it wasn't a clear win for Blake but I'm glad she finally did the best thing she could in this situation and settled. This whole ordeal was mishandled and not the best thing for her, image-wise. I'm not sure if Baldoni was as harmed as Blake.

I'm pretty sure Ryan was credited as wearing a velvet suit and white bow tie, but he didn't walk the stairs with Blake. Weren't most stars pictured alone?
