ECNL forcing Brave & Union Partnership

Seems like MYS is not much U13 and above. Always fielding weak teams. Teams like VDA, Bethesda or Arlington will beat them any day

The hires are obviously an MLS Next play for MYS later this year. These names are good publicity and will help their application process.

We’ll see if they can pull it off. It would be nice for northern Fairfax county kids to not have to commute over the beltway to another club.

Charlotte SA next which will likely be a loss and Arl again in the schedule.

If i am a Braves parent I'd be wondering why FVU didn't take more Braves. Maybe this team will be better in 2-3 years when new player cycle thru but next year this might be worst team in VA.

But wins and losses aren't everything, what about development? Maybe a parent from the team can say.

Yes, they're having a rough few games scoring. The girls are 13, they'll continue to improve. They also beat Charlotte SA the first time around so no reason to call that a loss.

I'm sorry looking at the results something is very wrong with your team. Injuries, coach, dunno but something is broken.

Must be the coach who plays everyone regardless. But maybe he is focusing more on development. But in the end the coach is the one who picks who makes the team or what not and he is the one responsible for driving the bus. It is a kids game after all , not a pro team. Parents need to enjoy the moments. Everyone chillax!! Go 300!

You can’t have a good soccer team with parents Poli-tiks only. At some point the coach will eventually get exposed.

Are you saying that MYS will get MLS next? How? Their boy's team was doing poorly in ECNL...

What will happen with the girls, GA?

Definetly coaching, why else are girls leaving from a very competitive team. Please don't respond because Brave players are joining. Brave is not a real club, seriously not trying to troll but they were never real. VYS is real, so optimistic MV can help for ML's many deficiencies mainly creating boundaries with the current Union helicopter parents. MV doesnt have time for that nonsense so who knows maybe it gets better doubt it. Best case scenario its exactly the same. Charlotte is the only competitive team in the 2010 mid-atlantic and playing them twice a year is not enough to stay competitve once they go to Nationals which they will qualify for every year in a weak and watered down conference. ECNL needs promotion relegaion, too many poor clubs

Is your kid current Union? Or coming from outside either club?

MYS is not getting MLSN. There are two clubs in Fairfax Co. already one SYC which is Top 10 nationally as a club. Don't water down the player pool MLSN, MYS has already demonstated they are not good enough either way

Union beat them in the Jefferson Cup finals this year.

What 2010 teams should be relegated? Nobody else gives Union 2010 a game other than Charlotte? That’s funny.
