Charlotte SA next which will likely be a loss and Arl again in the schedule.

If i am a Braves parent I'd be wondering why FVU didn't take more Braves. Maybe this team will be better in 2-3 years when new player cycle thru but next year this might be worst team in VA.

But wins and losses aren't everything, what about development? Maybe a parent from the team can say.

Yes, they're having a rough few games scoring. The girls are 13, they'll continue to improve. They also beat Charlotte SA the first time around so no reason to call that a loss.

I'm sorry looking at the results something is very wrong with your team. Injuries, coach, dunno but something is broken.

Definetly coaching, why else are girls leaving from a very competitive team. Please don't respond because Brave players are joining. Brave is not a real club, seriously not trying to troll but they were never real. VYS is real, so optimistic MV can help for ML's many deficiencies mainly creating boundaries with the current Union helicopter parents. MV doesnt have time for that nonsense so who knows maybe it gets better doubt it. Best case scenario its exactly the same. Charlotte is the only competitive team in the 2010 mid-atlantic and playing them twice a year is not enough to stay competitve once they go to Nationals which they will qualify for every year in a weak and watered down conference. ECNL needs promotion relegaion, too many poor clubs

Union beat them in the Jefferson Cup finals this year.

And tied them last week.

and? the point OP made was that its not good enough only playig Charlotte. Same statement could be mede for Charlotte, the only good team they play is Union. Not good enough to be competitive in Seatle this year

Duh. MYS drops off now because they don’t have ECNL nor MLSN. Kids have to go to another club like FVU, Arlington, or Alexandria to get into one of those leagues now. You can’t compare ECNL/MLSN teams to MYS, which doesn’t have any such teams.

MYS is FVU, what you talking about Willis?

Why not? They beat the top teams in other 2010 ECNL conferences at Jefferson Cup. It can be done with this team.

Hmm, 1/3 on the equation? Does not make them FVU? Are you following?

Tying Delco is not an achievement that will prepare you for Seattle, right now they are not even going

Until you can beat that little club in MoCo consistently, you're not even worth having this conversation with. To be clear I'm a PF parent so no dog in this fight, just calling a spade a spade

Oh no, it is not. FVU is an entirely new club. It is not under the same legal entity or supervision as the MYS teams. They have separate boards and management. There are no reserved spots on FVU for MYS players (or for players if any other club).

Did you not go to the town hall or read the materials about the club?

What's the little club in MoCo? Bethesda? They didn't even make it to the final.

Wow, yet another way MYS is getting parents to pay a ridiculous price for a lack luster team. The kids on the second and third team now have 30+ players how are they supposed to play or even improve if they won’t get playing time. MYS wake up.

To grind my axe our DD from an RL team was not evan allowed to try out for FVU. They first told us to sign up but then later said if you didn't get an invite don't come. No communication from the coach either.

BS to "pathways" and "pipelines" at MYS to FVU if RL kids can't come to tryouts. Its dog eat dog out there folks I will be glad when DD is done with this.
