It doesnt surprise me that people spend money on ncsl division 8 travel but it does surprise me that they spend $3200 on it from Valor when it is a known bad product.

I find it completely wild that they decided keeping the coaches a secret during tryouts was a good marketing strategy.

Not knowing who the coach will be is indeed a valid concern. I can’t say for everyone else but I called the office and was told who the coach will be.

Care to share with the group? Its insane that the only source of information about coaches for next year is this troll fest.
Every previous year, they posted the coaches well before tryouts. Sure, an odd lower level coach would be "TBD" but this year is so disrespectful to families.

We finally received an offer from another team. I think my kid was a back up choice since tryouts ended several days ago, but we are going to go with it rather than deal with the uncertainty of Valor. No coaches listed for the team he is interested in (2nd team).

Good on you for finding a club with coaches filled. I wish Valor would be able to do that too.

To be fair, Valor is not the only club with this problem. We were looking at VSA and even their site says “coaching slate to be announced” but nothing on the link. Other parents mentioned some more clubs with vacant coaches. So this seems more widespread than just Valor.

Don’t bother engaging these trolls.

They throw a bunch of accusations that pretty much describes problems in any club. When they get confronted about that, they try to pinpoint specific examples. When they get proven wrong, they come back and repeat general issues common in any club. It’s a never ending cycle of stupidity with these haters.

VSA has most of their coach slate --not just their first teams-on instagram if someone is looking for info.
