Is there any reason to dislike Herschel Walker?

Not only did he pressure this 2nd woman to have an abortion, he also:

"drove her to a clinic and waited in the parking lot for hours as she underwent the procedure." Under TX law, it would be illegal to drive someone to their abortion. How is that acceptable to Republicans?

While feigning deep concern over Fettermans speaking ability.

It's acceptable if you are a white, Christian, GOP politician, businessman, or pastor.

This may not be obvious so I'll let you in on a secret. He's black.

You seem unfamiliar with the word “or.”

Georgia R here. I dont see why its a problem. There are many other reasons to have concerns about HR. But that he retroactively violated a different state's abortion law? Not one of them.

So "or" is modifying all of them? That list encompasses most of America. So I guess I agree, it doesnt matter who has done it. Republicans dont actually care if a politician previously had an abortion.

I don’t know why Democrats think Herschel Walker being a hypocrite means Republicans should help Democrats keep control of the Senate. The idea that good Republicans would stop backing a competitive candidate is just stupid. “Herschel Walker is a hypocrite on abortion, so let’s ensure abortion on demand becomes the law of the land.” Nonsense.

So vote for a lunatic piece of crap, because then I will get what I want.

Yeah, that’s going to be great for the country.

Thanks for saying what we all know. Republicans are traitors.

I think Democrats are appalled that the Republicans chose a candidate who is a hypocritical ignoramus, has a history of mental illness and domestic violence, is a compulsive liar, and is completely unqualified to be a Senator. His being a hypocrite is the least of these issues, but it does lay bare the fact that Trump’s MAGA cult doesn’t care about anything else as much as they care about owning the libs.

And they don’t care if they get one in the future. It’s all just politics to them and they have no moral core. Abortion is simply a good wedge issue for them.

OP, to answer your topic’s question: yes, there are many, many reasons to dislike Herschel Walker.

Do you really not see anything wrong with him repeatedly impregnating women while he was married to someone else, then seeming to coerce them into aborting the fetuses? Like over and over, he did this?

I'm pro choice as they come and this just seems like a nasty situation, and the person who did this seems like a nasty person.

Conor Lamb won his seat in Congress because a Republican politician resigned when it became known that he asked his mistress to have an abortion.
