Is there any reason to dislike Herschel Walker?

Forget the pathological lying. Forget the refusal to take responsibility for a single thing in his life. Forget the carpetbagging. Forget the incoherence in thought and speech. Forget the lack of meaningful education. All because he talks about the Bible, scored some touchdowns in college and will do McConnell’s bidding.

Perhaps we need a discussion regarding the appropriateness of anyone with a documented history of mental illness and violent behavior being able to hold office.

Or getting a supreme court appointment.

Right?!

Well I guess that after you have put a sexual predator, scam artist, deadbeat, corrupt, immoral, lying dictator in our nation's highest office...why would they have any qualms about who holds lower offices?

I have not read this whole thread but am HOPING that OP has come back online and taken back his original sentiment...

Add Stolen Valor to the things the GOP doesn't care about anymore

He can't stop lying. Every word out of his mouth is a lie.

Unfit to serve morally and intellectually, he is the R's answer to Rev. Warnock.

Sadly, he may win.

And I don’t know how any of you can admit belonging to the party endorsing him.

Agree... but that's b/c you and I have standards involving intelligence and a basic understanding of truth/honesty.

For the Republicans, the "standard" boils down to two things: (1) Alive, and (2) willing to follow directions to vote for whatever they are told to vote for.

Under that "standard" -- Walker is "fit" to represent the republicans.

Hey, should we call him Powhatan, or maybe Fauxhatan?

The party endorsing him even admits that he’s terrible.

BREAKING NEWS: Walker Csmp sign issues a correction confirming the candidate’s grandmother once owned a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

So, this means that Herschel Walker is distant cousins with Elizabeth Warren?

He deserves that same treatment she got for the same terrible choice to make this public. It's worse though. At least, in addition to her family stories, Warren did have a DNA test that did show trace amounts of Native American DNA. Walker doesn't even have that. Just a claim that his mother told him that he was part Cherokee; despite the fact that when asked directly, she denied it. She said her grandmother (candidate Walker's great-grandmother) was "kin" to Cherokee, being some distant relation that was undefined.

I believe this is deemed acceptable for Republican office seekers under the “The only moral abortion is my abortion” clause.
