Oh yes! I was wondering where our defense by offense man is back! Sleep in? |
This is purely mean! But I also had to laugh. |
(Honestly me too, and it's my kid he's talking about I'm confident enough in her skills he can't get under my skin with such a cheap shot. )
|
It's not a cheap shot at your kid. I have no dog in the fight. But the other poster clearly has both selection bias and confirmation bias. While I feel for his situation, it's purely mean of him to keep complaining about your kid publicly. So I felt it was a bit deserved to call him out. |
You couldn't be more off target. Go for it though. My DD's skills don't depend on your posts. She has the same biases. She doesn't enjoy being on the field with a player that can't keep up. She doesn't get a full training experience because of a player that can't keep up. Those are real problems. Go on though! Give it your best efforts. Laughter is so freeing! |
Sure. Just realize that everything you are bring up is subjective. The objective data is that this play up kid is being selected to start. She is scoring goals. I have not seen a game, maybe it's terribly sloppy. But those are the facts. Her DA record shows she even played up another year one game and scored a goal. So THAT is why you look like you are whining. Based on those facts. Instead, I suggest you focus on your own DD and helping her get better. No situation is ideal. But don't point the finger at another kid. It's not cool. |
Several posters have expressed concern and frustration in several ways, cool and not cool. Where there is smoke, there is fire. It will be interesting to see if unhappy parents leave, if MU changes policy, or if the player leaves. Last year mom tried FCV and McLean (per Twitter). Perhaps she will again. All posts though have come as a reaction to the hakuna mata approach. |
As for you. You think it's interesting to see if unhappy parents leave - like it's fun to watch a car wreck. You are the worst on this board. Where there is smoke, we can surely find you bringing in the kindling to try to burn down your rival club. It's not hard to figure it out. |
|
That's fair. My choice of words was poor. I guess what I should have said is what will be telling is...it's not interesting in any real sense. It's sad that this problem exists. I hope it gets fixed. |
Mom will stay if MU allows the 2 year up gig. No way this player will join the winless 06 MU team. Otherwise she will go to FCV. McLean 06 team is probably almost as bad as the MU 06 team so I doubt we will see her there. And there is no chance she will play at age. TBH she is good enough to play up anywhere. If I were her I would play 06 FCV just so my DD isn't playing with girls so much older. |
Then she should go. The club shouldn't let mom set the agenda, and one player shouldn't control the development of an entire team. The other very likely outcome is that a few key players will leave. Without them to carry the team, she may play up two years again another round, but it will be a very different experience. |

Player with second highest goals on team by DA subbing rules, most time on the field also - playing mid.... playing defense too ? then why big GD so?
Mid critical position - conclusin that every other player surround mid suspect now, according to mom abov all other players surrounding while she out scoring. Many questions |
Well, threatening to leave is also setting an agenda. Frankly, you don't get to pick your roster. You can certainly vote with your feet but that can be done without all the forum bluster and drama. |
I don't think anyone will leave to make a threat. They will leave to get a better training environment and game experience. |
