Private helipads and $1000 tickets are a symptom of extreme inequality, not a cause of it. So the solution is not to ban such things, which will do nothing to fix the problem, but to change the economic conditions that make these status symbols possible. |
I take it Coolidge Reagan is also looking into Jared's 1.2 billion deal to save one of the worst real estate investment in history |
OMG.
Navy Yard is NOT a fancy area. It is a mixed-income area, with blocks and blocks of public housing units nearby (across South Capitol Street). Too many folks have gone completely nuts over AOC. |
More like 10 years. |
near SW is a TOTALLY different neighborhood. Can we start discussing Van Ness Elementary school boundaries now? Lets bore the RW out of town trolls to death. |
The Harris Teeter is not immoral is it? Please tell me the Harris Teeter is not immoral. |
She should have moved to H Street. They would tolerate the dancing over there. We don't dance so much over here. I mean unless its some kind of babies and mommies dance thing. |

boring except during Nats Games and even then.... But we DO have Blue Jacket - has this dude ever had Mexican Cake? And the trapeze school. And Ice Cream Jubilee. |
Stop deviating from my post. Two wrongs don't make a right. We're dealing with AOC's wrong at this point. I wish you liberals (former D) would see the bad on YOUR side, as the Ds are so g-damn fragmented that there's no way they'll win 2020. Get it together and stop REFUSING to look at the flaws on your end. bunch of dingbats |
Really, you think that when this is all over you are going to find actual wrongdoing? If she wanted to pay her boyfriend $6,000 she could have just hired him for her campaign staff. Honestly you people are dumber than a bag of hammers. |
what did she do wrong? |
No it's entirely the point because conservatives scrutinize non-existing ethical lapses by Democrats while ignoring enormous lapses by Republicans. It is not illegal or unethical to rent an apartment. It is not illegal or unethical to find your boyfriend a job working on your campaign. It is, however, unethical to negotiate a 1.2 billion deal loan deal with a Qatari firm while you are working in the White House on Middle East policy. It is unethical to go on vacation to your own property and charge the Secret Service to stay at your own hotel. It is unethical to create a "blind trust" run by your own children and write checks drawing money from it. But you go right on plucking motes from AOC's eye. That tactic doesn't work anymore since you elected the most corrupt public official in the history of the United States to the Presidency. I mean that literally. It's pretty obvious and only your partisan blinders prevent you from seeing it. After all, doesn't every President's personal lawyer swear that he committed felonies? Who among us has not had their personal foundation shut down for misuse of funds? And every politicians has told at least 8,000 documented lies. So spare me your faux outrage over nothing. I look forward to Ocasio-Cortez's questions for Alan Weiselberg. |
^ and they STILL CAN’T FIND THE NAVY YARD! |
Great question. What did she do wrong? |
She did nothing wrong. They think she secretly paid him $6,000. Why would anyone secretly pay someone they can legally put on their payroll??? |
