Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez moves into a luxury apartment complex

Because it would smell bad if she put him on her payroll?

Wow. The Trumpsters on here reallllly have AOC on their minds.

What a joke you all are.

Maybe you should start worrying about your band of buffoons - specifically "Gym" Jordan and Mark Meadows. Talk about clowns.

As the saying goes "you don't pull the pigtails of a girl you dislike." You all are afraid of her and wish you had someone like her on your side.

Well, Cummings came to Meadows' defense, no?

And not every D or I loves AOC. Making generalizations places you in the ignorant category.

She listed 1,049 transactions for Uber, Lyft, Juno and other car services, federal filings show. The campaign had 505 Uber expenses alone.

In all, Ocasio-Cortez spent $29,365.70 on those emissions-spewing vehicles, along with car and van rentals — even though her Queens HQ was a one-minute walk to the 7 train.

Maybe that almost $30K will come out of her salary?

lol!

Once you realize, however, that, within a moral context, there is no meaningful distinction between “extreme luxury” and “excess” in relation to eliminating poverty it’s clear she is undermining her own position.

No different than Bernie or Al Gore insiting on private jet travel while asserting climate change is an extinction level challenge.

+1.

You idiots couldn’t find the navy yard on google maps, eh?

What’s funny is that can’t see where this is heading even though AOC is telegraphing it. To cite AOC, if private owniership of a helipad in New York while poverty exists in Alabama is immoral, why aren’t $1000 Hamilton tickets and upscale restaurants immoral? Why is it moral to spend $15 on a movie ticket when that $15 could be allocated to alleviate poverty? Travel to Europe while poverty exists?

When her staff tells you they want to end air travel and consumption of meat you should believe them.

The Harris Teeter is not immoral is it? Please tell me the Harris Teeter is not immoral.

The Harris Teeter in Arlington was picketed for not putting the morning after bill on open shelves but making people ask a pharmacist for the pill. That is immoral.

I always have to pay right away, where did you find a place that bills you later?

How far can we take this silliness. Does she use compostable cups in her office?! Does her office even use electricity?! Does everyone on her staff walk to work?? Do they eat lunch from a garden housed inside her office?? Well????
Anonymous
She uses Uber too while professing to care about the plight of the NYC cabbie.
Anonymous
She popped up after an event pulling up in a minivan. She need not lecture anyone about environmental issues.

You just proved your own point. I never said every Dem or I likes her. You are the one making generalizations. I guess that would make you ignorant by your own definition. Well done, PP!

How many 20 somethings earn $174,000 per year? Of those that do, how many live in run-down walk-up flats?

In other words, she's using politics for personal financial gain.

Yes. It's called a job. She was elected to public office, to her job. She gets paid. Just like 400-some other people with the same job, same salary.
