No it's entirely the point because conservatives scrutinize non-existing ethical lapses by Democrats while ignoring enormous lapses by Republicans.  It is not illegal or unethical to rent an apartment.  It is not illegal or unethical to find your boyfriend a job working on your campaign.  It is, however, unethical to negotiate a 1.2 billion deal loan deal with a Qatari firm while you are working in the White House on Middle East policy.  It is unethical to go on vacation to your own property and charge the Secret Service to stay at your own hotel.  It is unethical to create a "blind trust" run by your own children and write checks drawing money from it.

But you go right on plucking motes from AOC's eye.  That tactic doesn't work anymore since you elected the most corrupt public official in the history of the United States to the Presidency.  I mean that literally.  It's pretty obvious and only your partisan blinders prevent you from seeing it.  After all, doesn't every President's personal lawyer swear that he committed felonies?  Who among us has not had their personal foundation shut down for misuse of funds?   And every politicians has told at least 8,000 documented lies.

So spare me your faux outrage over nothing.  I look forward to Ocasio-Cortez's questions for  Alan Weiselberg.[/quote]
