Really curious what happened to Scott Ratigan in Ballston.

A young professional, seemingly not involved in anything shady (drugs, hookup gone wrong, etc.) killed in his upscale apartment...seems really specific to be a random crime.

There was a long unsolved case like this in NY which finally got solved 5 years ago, google Baby Hope. Basically, the mom was told that her child died while living with the father's relatives, but wasn't told any details. The father's relative who was caring for the child died soon after. The family was troubled overall and apparently never asked for a death certificate , but neither parent had anything to do with the murder.

The Sodder case is not a mystery. No investigation at all. No fire department response because the one available fireman didn’t know how to start the fire engine.Their bodies were buried in the rubble of the second floor that collapsed into the basement. The father had the entire scene bulldozed into a heap within two days of the fire. Every bit that followed was unfounded.
