This exactly.

+1

So many questions!

Madeleine McCann

McCann was most likely murdered by a German child molester. This was solved years ago.

Laureen Rahn. Her mother arrived home late after a date to find her daughter missing from their apartment, and every hallway lightbulb on every floor of the apartment complex had been unscrewed. So weird.

The fact that this man or woman, along with whoever supported the bombing campaign, is still out there is....worrying.

How has that not been solved?!?!?

The cops tried to flip the wrong guy.

+100. Should have gone for the one who was heard screaming, no question. I still think he was the only one not involved in the killing itself.

The fact that Wone's almost certain killers have been living their lives in freedom all these years is sickening. I've always wondered if any of them committed further sexual assaults and/or murders because they got away with this one, and they left this area. At least one changed his name, I think. Still haunts me.

Just read about it after reading your post. She was very young to run away, it makes one wonder what was happening to compel her to leave her home. Of course the family would say they have no idea - but c’mon.

It seems certain that she encountered evil while trying to escape whatever she was trying to escape at home. Very sad, indeed.

My money is on her being groomed, and being told to pack a bag and leave that night. Zero indication of abuse in her home and the mother has never been under suspicion, so, unclear why you seem intent on placing the blame on the family? Did you also blame Elizabeth smarts family and assume she ran off to escape? Or maybe something about the color of their skin changes your initial gut perception on those cases

Anonymous wrote:Asha Degree- are they sure she wasn’t planning to meet someone? Internet predator?

The family didn’t even own a home computer and strictly controlled their kids’ access to internet activities. So no, there was no evidence to suggest this.

+1 I do think she was groomed, but by somebody known to her/the family. Someone from church or school.

In her bag they found a book from her school library that she had never had/ never checked out, so, yes likely someone at her school groomed her and convinced her to leave

Tara Calico - young woman went for her usual bike ride and never returned home. A Polaroid turned up of a woman who looked like her, and a younger boy, bound and gagged in the back of a van. Mixed opinions on whether it was actually her in the photo (and if not, who was it?)

Anthonette Cayedito - 9 year old girl was kidnapped from her home while her mom was out at a bar with friends or later that night. Her sisters said there was a knock on the door, Anthonette answered it, and was taken by 2 men. Her mom was suspected of setting up the kidnapping but never charged.

Hoggle kids were killed by their mother, placed in dumpsters (went missing at different times). Such a tragic ending without any justice or closure for their father and remaining sibling.

I saw on the Reddit page that book was actually never traced back to her school.

This could be solved.
The DNA sample did lead to a match in the database however the Federal Bureau of Investigation denied the release of the evidence to the Austin Police Department citing a federal statute that protects anonymous donors.

The DNA sample itself also only presented partial markers which was not enough genetic material to incriminate. Advancements in DNA technology have been pulling more and more information from the sample and it is hoped that it will soon bring to light the suspect and finally bring the young girls and their families the justice they deserve.

Wow, sounds like this may get resolved in the not too distant future.

Jon Benet. I read this amazing (but very long) theory/report on Reddit a while ago. I wish I could find it - I think it's in the r/jonbenet sub or something, but it has me totally convinced it was the dad.
