I have a relative who up and disappeared. No trace. It’s haunting and heartbreaking and the secrets in my family run so deep and dark.

I’ve done my own research and work and am happy to report I made some progress and links. I’m so frustrated because I am the only person advocating for this family member and can’t seem to get on the right track or get answers or responses. [/quote]

There was a long unsolved case like this in NY which finally got solved 5 years ago, google Baby Hope.   Basically, the mom was told that her child died while living with the father's relatives, but wasn't told any details.  The father's relative who was caring for the child died soon after.   The  family was troubled overall and apparently never asked for a death certificate , but neither parent had anything to do with the murder.   [/quote]
