hello giuliana's pr rep |
she's from France |
Exactly. It doesn't make sense. She looks thinner now than she did then and thinner now than she did even a year or two ago. |
I wish she would just come out and say she has an eating disorder.
She would save lives this way. |
Gah. She said that she is STILL taking meds to prevent recurrence. And she is attributing her weight loss to those meds. It seems that her weight has gone down very low since her diagnosis, surgery, treatment....so, yeah, there seems to be some sort of correlation between cancer treatment and weight loss in her case. |
More like there's a correlation between working out on an empty stomach?.drinking cayenne water, sipping kombucha when you're hungry and passing your plate of pasta around the table for other people to eat first and weight loss. Weight loss is not associated with what is probably tamoxifen. You only take it for 3-5 years after breast cancer. What is her excuse going to be next year? |
Wrong. Weight gain is more common than weight loss. But weight loss can absolutely be a side effect of tamoxifen. I am not familiar with the details of her treatment or whatever meds that she might be on. But you must be? |
Just a guess since it'a a common treatment. Either way, she's described her eating habits as stated according to that post and I'll still place my bets on a future ED confession. This is just damage control. It's not malice or ill will; it's just obvious to this former EDed person. |
I also recognize my own ED past in GR's previously posted journal and agree that (and hope) she'll make an ED confession. |
Uh - wrong. |
I doubt this will ever happen. It's immaterial if she is on medication that has side effects that affect her weight. She obviously has not had a healthy relationship with food for a long time. There are diets that are recognized as safe and encouraged for weight gain with certain illnesses. It is clearly evident that she does not follow anything of the sort. When Paris Hilton was released after her short jail stint, she looked so much healthier b/c she'd put on a little weight. I think rehab is Rancic's only hope. |
I think people are saying that the surrogate is from Denver because that is where the fertility clinic they used is located. I remember seeing that on their show. |
Maybe. She definitely grew up in Bethesda. |
+1 |
As soon as I saw the latest People interview and associated stories I thought of this thread. Well, actually, the first thing I thought was SPIN, SPIN, SPIN. She's ramping up her PR effort because her book is coming out soon and she needs more positive PR and less of the negative weight-focused stuff. How is that not completely obvious??
The cancer stuff is the perfect PR spin because how do you argue with cancer? It shuts people up, generally speaking. I'm sorry that she went through cancer, but I don't buy it for a second it's anything but PR spin, considering that the People interview is "coincidentally" out just before her book release and just after Fashion Police tanking in spectacular, uh, fashion. Whoever is doing her damage control must be a graduate from the Beyonce School of PR. Now that's someone with a vice-like grip on her image thanks to meticulously calculated PR moves. |
