There are a lot of parents waiting for the children to come home for the holidays. You want to tell us all that we aren't allowed to talk to each other as parents? We have to put on our red and blue ties and talk about politics?

Go F yourself

I know this is from last night but I am the PP and I have two college students. One of whom was one campus during a college shooting and the other of whom was in high school during a lockdown where a student was killed.

If you see this as a red/blue issue as opposed to a consequence of an industry stranglehold by the NRA, you are part of the problem. I am personally tired of my children bearing the literal and figurative scars of gun violence.

So you go F yourself.

Because cars and other modes of transportation also exist.

It’s sad but I think we have accepted it at this point. This has been going on for over twenty years and these events barely even hold the attention of the news anymore.

Australian shooting already eclipsed it.

Because no one checks the transport of goods as we drive across borders and it’s stupid easy to get a gun from Alabama where you can buy a gun easier than a snicker’s bar and drive it up to Rhode Island.

And mentally ill.people can walk around freely.

Of course they can. Because the majority of society has some sort of mental illness.

And mentally ill people are not sufficiently supervised and restricted from public areas.

They say the shooter shouted something before the attack? What was it?

The weapons was unusual? How?

It's amazing that Kash hasn't leaked any details before they are cleared for release to the public. And no pics of him standing around in a borrowed FBI jacket pretending to be in charge.

At least we know it's a male in all black clothing with a mask and carrying a gun.

That’s pretty much the standard maga uniform.

So I think we can draw some conclusions now.

Trump will pardon him. Just like the Jan 6ers

I mean he carried out the attack on the Ivies that Trump has been pushing all year.

One of the victims* comes from Trumpland, so that will muddy the waters.

(no, not yet publicly identified)

Where is Trumpland?

Anywhere outside a major metropolitan area in the United States.

The chief of police in Providence said the person of interest in custody is male and in his 20s. He didn’t flee, he hit his hotel. He’s chunky with an odd walk.

What are the odds that he isn’t a white MAGA man acting in service to Trumpian ideas about “entitled” Ivy League students? He’s got maybe an associate’s degree, no job, and no clue about the world outside of his feed.

Just stop. We’ll know more about him in good time. The rest of it is just speculation.

They know who is.

They are choosing to not release this info which of course is going to lead everyone to speculate until the facts are released.

I’ll bite.
I’m a moderate, and I support moderate common sense gun laws.
Strict gun laws don’t work in a country where all someone has to do is drive a state or two over and buy a gun there.
I support the right to own guns, to a degree.
Should people with serious mental health issues be allowed guns? Probably not.
Should people be able to buy high capacity weapons of war? No.
Whatever it is, it isn’t working to have different standards in different locations.

Honestly, I hate Trump, but wait for info. Most likely it's some socially awkward incel guy who failed out of the class some years ago.

Not true. The majority of American citizens are not hearing voices telling them to kill people..
