Once again:  we're all well aware that he's tottering over to give the guy with a parachute a thumbs up.  The point is, the other leaders are uneasily watching him do this, wondering WTF he's doing.  The soldier is busy and not at all interested.  So there is Biden, looking like a toddler with his thumb up.  It's all very embarrassing, but do keep insisting he and the soldier were engaged in conversation.  They weren't.  Meloni had to gently guide him back to the group.  [/quote]
