Yes you have said this like a million times.

There are a lot of children in foster care. What are YOU doing about THAT!???

As an adoptee myself, I am disgusted by people like who seemingly "care" about kids but only when they are able to control and demean and enslave women.

The actual real live BORN CHILDREN like me they can't be bothered to lift a finger to help.

Are you saying that all kids in foster care are unwanted pregnancies? I beg to differ.

And I’m not sure how what I do/don’t do for kids in foster care is relevant. If people don’t want to have kids, they shouldn’t have the type of sex that results in a pregnancy. It’s not hard.

OMG. “It’s not hard.”

What are you a robot? No human who understands humans would make such assertion.

A lot of red state men are gonna be up in arms if their partners suddenly tell them no sex.

You realize that there are like 50 other things you can do besides PIV sex?

And who cares. I’m 50 and in menopause. I managed to not get pregnant before I was married (boy not having sex! Imagine that!). I would think there are millions of women like me who have managed to avoid it as well.

And to answer your question, no I am not a robot. I am a fully functioning human who managed to not have sex so I would get pregnant for many many years.

LoL at the idea of most men finding that completely acceptable as part of a marriage.

I mean hey, if you want to chance getting pregnant because god forbid, your husband can’t do anything besides traditional PIV sex, and you’re cool with that, have at it! No one’s stopping you.

There are plenty of us that have husbands that don’t require that.

Are you a woman who knows firsthand the consequences of pregnancy on your body both during and after pregnancy?

Let’s say you have just received the opportunity of a lifetime, something that would lead to all sorts of fantastic things for you and your family, you already have 3 kids who are all in school, you are 42 years old with a history of difficult pregnancies, and then your husband’s vasectomy fails and you find yourself accidentally pregnant which would derail your excellent once-in-a lifetime opportunity. You think it’s disgusting for a woman in such a situation to decide at 6 weeks to take medication to end that pregnancy?

The “simply because they don’t want them” is such a disingenuous argument. Easy to make when you have no f’n clue what a woman or girl might be facing.

Hahahahahaha. I have two children. Had very difficult pregnancies. So please, spare me your “you have no idea what you’re talking about” BS.

Yes. I 100% think it’s disgusting. I would personally never do that. I had sex. I got pregnant. I would have the baby.

My husband and I did many other things besides PIV sex to assure that I didn’t get pregnant when I didn’t want to. Is it easy? Not really. But we did it. We made it fun. No regrets.

No one is interested in your sex life. Do you always over share

So sad when someone can’t learn from their experience to have empathy with others. Wondering if you are by chance not neurotypical that you can’t empathize with others. I’m sorry for your limitations.

Thank you OP for starting this thread. The word abortion is the wrong term Dems need to use to get voters to understand what we are voting for.

Its the *right to medical care*
When women can’t terminate an *unviable fetus*, there is no logic. This is about lawmakers controlling women’s bodies.

I cannot imagine my daughter, niece, cousin, sister, neighbor having to go though the hell this poor woman went through.

I go back and forth wondering if the Democrats should frame it as abortion access or healthcare.
On the one hand, I think we need to destigmatize the word abortion because many miscarriages require an abortion to finalize the passing of the tissue. And it should not be something that we penalizing and burning people at the stake for. The other hand, it is 100% medical Care and a lot of people don't view it as that. I know my relatives didn't until all of this started coming out. So at least one good thing is I believe at least in my circles people are much more informed and understand how important access to medical Care during pregnancy is. Whether that be to help carry the pregnancy to term or to make a different decision. Ultimately, it should not be in the lawmakers and even my Republican family believes that.

We actually do care about babies, and we care about the mothers of these babies, and the other children that they have who don’t want to be left without a mother.

Tell the woman in this video that BS
No you don’t, no one is buying it.
You’re just a control freak

How tiresome and self righteous you are.

That is what is disgusting.

I mean we’re all entitled to our opinions. You think I’m disgusting because I never had an abortion. I think people who have had abortions simply because they don’t want a baby are disgusting.

Really, in the grand scheme of things, neither of our opinions make a difference. We both want the right to choose.

Again, that's not what is disgusting. Your blind judgment is disgusting. I have never had an abortion either -- but all my closest circle of friends have.

Many of your friends have as well, but I imagine they keep that from you.

100%
My only ask is to make sure we DEMS get this message to young people *who are’t in our circles* and don’t live in a blue bubble. That’s really the key here because of all the GOP misinformation. I hope the Kamala Harris campaign spends some of that money on ads in the key swing states educating voters about these tragic stories of being denied medical care. It’s time to ensure law makers stay out of medical decisions they know nothing about.

These are the frighteningly dumb people who don't understand not every woman got pregnant during a one night stand and treats abortion like birth control and goes to a clinic and gets a card punched and the 12th abortion is free, or that every woman even WANTED the abortion.

98% of abortions in the US are elective. There was no rape or incest, no medical problems for either mother or baby.

It’s none of your business WHY a woman chooses to have an abortion and your BS 98% claim is laughable because women don’t announce the reason they’re having an abortion. You think there’s a form you fill out where you fully explain the reason? You have no damn idea why most women have one. You have no idea about their situation.None. You appear to just think the worst of women who’ve had one. You think every woman was just careless, having sec with every random guy who looks in her direction and oopsie, she got pregnant. So let’s have this careless nympho bring a baby into the world!

Everyone who pays taxes has a right to voice their opinion about the things their taxes pay for.

Look up Hyde amendment, dumbass.

Planned Parenthood claims federal funds are not used for abortion, but money is fungible, so it is impossible to distinguish the funds used for abortions from funds used for other services they provide.

So yeah- my tax dollars are paying for abortion, against my will.

I don’t want to pay for anyone to have an elective abortion. If you get pregnant and don’t want your baby- pay for your own abortion.

OMG Planned Parenthood doesn’t receive a big pile of money from the government annually. They are reimbursed for individual medical services that are eligible for federal money under Title X, like birth control. Birth control that goes a long way to actually preventing the abortions you all hate so much. Meanwhile the Hyde Amendment makes it so that women in the military or in federal jobs who have to undergo medically necessary abortions for much wanted babies whose brains didn’t develop properly have the privilege of paying $10,000 and up for those procedures themselves. Congrats, I guess?

Please do not have an abortion if that is your choice. Everyone will respect your decision. Just stay out of this matter for other women. It does not concern you.

But it concerns you?

What any other woman decides is none of my or your business.

Elective abortion is choosing to kill an unborn child. There is no medical reason to kill a healthy unborn baby, and my tax dollars are used against my will to fund Planned Parenthood.

And you would have the state force a woman to use her body against her will.

The GOP gets sick pleasure out of forcing women to do things without their consent.

Citation needed. GOP is forcing women to have sex and become pregnant?

Are you only capable of making childish strawman arguments?

The GOP is forcing women to give birth against their will.

And clearly they get some kind of sick perverted pleasure out of it. Fcking masochists.

No, because the GOP can’t force women to become pregnant. The GOP can’t force men to ejaculate in women and father children.

Democrats are trying to convince people there is an alternative society occurring where political parties are forcing American citizens to have sex and forcing parents to donate organs to their children and dying as a result.

What is rape if not forcing someone to be pregnant?

They posted a table from a research article that showed abortion due to rape is rare as an insinuation that because it is rare, it does not exist.

According to an American Medical Association study, nearly 65,000 pregnancies associated with rape have occurred in the 14 states that enacted abortion bans since the Dobbs decision in 2022.

Tens of thousands of pregnancies have resulted from rape in states where abortion is not a legal option, researchers estimate in a new study.

It’s difficult to measure how often sexual assault occurs, and Dickman acknowledges that the study includes many statistical assumptions.“

I’m not neurotypical because I think killing a fetus is disgusting? Interesting take.

I have empathy for women who will die if their fetus isn’t aborted. I have empathy for rape victims. I don’t have empathy for someone who “accidentally” gets pregnant but they’re about to start a new high paying job and a baby would just ruin things. Sorry - my empathy is for people who deserve it.
