It’s this morning’s edition of “oh no he didn’t”. Nothing is surprising any more. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna133166 |
| Haley is the GOP sleeper if Trump dies or is disqualified from office. Christie is behind Haley. |
| Haley getting birthered is peak 'leopards eating faces party" - if she is a threat to Trump, this is just the tip of the iceberg for her, and...there is NO MAGA who will vote for her. This is what Lindsay Graham "feared" coming to roost. |
Not sure what you mean by “behind” here - of course Christie is behind Haley in the polls but I’m not sure Christie is backing her. She has promised to pardon Trump and a lot of other things that Christie vehemently disagrees with. |
Obama is chuckling ruefully somewhere. |
I live in NH. Based on the amount of anti-Haley flyers in my mailbox this week, he's very, very scared. |
1. If he is disqualified he will either instruct his followers to vote for him as a write in or tell them to stay home. 2. If he dies, unless on Trump's death bed, he endorsed Haley, which he will not do. Trump does not care about anything or anyone but himself. |
So MAGA is back to caring about constitutional eligibility requirements? It’s only been a day or two since they were telling us that such requirements are anti-democratic. I’m having a severe case of whiplash. |
| Any MAGA care to weigh in about Trump's birtherism pursuit of Nikki Haley? Do you approve of that? |
| Nikki Haley has zero chance. NEXT! |
| I voted for Biden. If Haley is on the ticket, I will vote for her. |

More on Christie’s decision to drop out: - did not have a conversation with Haley about his decision - feels that people have to see on their own that Haley won’t be able to defeat Trump - doesn't want to be blamed for being a spoiler in the race - the Post’s Dylan Wells https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/01/10/chris-christie-drops-out-2024/ |

Christie is 100% right on all counts.
And the "hit mic" was not an accident. |
So you support someone who would sign an abortion ban? Ok. |
