Not sure what you mean by “behind” here - of course Christie is behind Haley in the polls but I’m not sure Christie is backing her. She has promised to pardon Trump and a lot of other things that Christie vehemently disagrees with.

1. If he is disqualified he will either instruct his followers to vote for him as a write in or tell them to stay home.

2. If he dies, unless on Trump's death bed, he endorsed Haley, which he will not do.

I wish Christie wasn’t dropping out. He’s the only one who can go toe to toe with DJT. Don’t agree with him on a lot of policies, but it really should be him consolidating the anti-Trump vote.
