PP here, sure, but again, why? Maybe some roles have less kids so need them to cover more casts and performances, but what do you think determines why some are double-cast and some are single-cast?

Its always a toss up with what mix of kids come for auditions. My DD is a Frontier this year, there are 30 of them this year, so we knew there would be 5 groups, meaning 4 single jewels and 1 double jewels.
Its all about how many kids they end up having, they wont force more kids into a role just to have enough for x number of groups

Why on earth does Emerald have so many Arc rehearsals if they don't even perform there???? Can Friday be just Pearl and not Emerald? it feels like such a pain to drive over there on Friday for sections of rehearsal that are Emerald only

3 casts perform there, 3 dont.
It just makes no sense to have a jewel only performance of one that isn't going to use that stage.
For the role specific rehearsals of all casts, fine. But rehearsals of just a Jewel that isn't performing there??? A complete waste of parents time

Agree! And the costumes are already there and our kids need a full dress rehearsal if they’re not performing. Carpool- figure it out!

There were a lot of unsold seats when we looked for tickets last week for our friends and family. It looks bad when a show doesn’t sell out. The promo codes probably helped get people to pull the trigger on buying tickets.
