A Rule 2004 examination, while essentially a form of deposition, is an examination of any person or entity who may have knowledge pertinent to discovery of assets and it is used to examine transactions, as well as to determine whether wrongdoing has occurred So pretty much omar was claiming he was the real victim and he was going to have his lawyer question everyone involved. Frankly it felt like intimidation and glad the court saw through it for what it was. |

Hard to keep track between all the bankruptcy dates and criminal dates. Next up on the criminal side is 7/11 for three of the sixteen felony theft charges brought by MD. Not sure if that date will stick, both sides keep delaying, which I think is helping the state as every time Omar makes a move it adds more color that the authorities can use against him. I have not seen anything from the delays that helps his case. Bankruptcy keeps getting delayed so I think the criminal cases will go first and then there may be a domino effect. IMO |

Too early to say. That hearing is more than a month away. Investigations are active and thus by then a lot more will likely be known. So much more can come out in the next 30 days. Omar is the kind that keeps giving thus allowing him to dig a deeper hole helps the trustee and DOJ. |

| What impact, if any, will Omar’s continuing to work for his brother mean to trustee…or his parents continuing to pay for his rent…of the fact that he hasn’t relinquished his illgotten cars? |

It is my understanding the US Trustee (DOJ), already engaged, refers charges to the US Attorney General's office. They have a lot more powers including working with other countries. I think it is very likely Omar is referred to the US AG. But who knows.... |
