This is pretty obviously caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Biden didn't cause that. If we want to blame every world event on the current President, then I'll blame COVID on Trump and COVID was far worse that some nickel and oil getting more expensive.

Nord Stream 2: Biden waives US sanctions on Russian pipeline

Trump approved them in 2019, Biden removed them.

The move came in a report on Russian sanctions delivered to Congress by the Department of State.

Critics say the pipeline is a major geopolitical prize for the Kremlin.

The project, which would take gas from the Russian Arctic under the Baltic Sea to Germany, is already more than 95% complete.

The Department of State report notes that Nord Stream 2 AG and its chief executive, Matthias Warnig, a former East German intelligence officer, engaged in sanctionable activity.

So Trump had sanctions in place to stop this pipeline, stop Putin's cronies and stop a former Stasi officer...Biden lifted them.

Ukraine begged to bring them back or be tougher on Russia - of course they would they were invaded under Obama's watch - but against sound policy Biden lifted them.

This gave Putin the balls he needed to invade.

Ohh you again, I read the military thread earlier today and saw these posts almost verbatim in there from days ago. You are honestly coming off VERY pro Russia which is weird since Putin himself was thrilled with Trump and there is clear evidence that Russia strongly attempted to swing the 2020 election towards him. Why would Putin want a President that had been so tough on him?

Russia shot themselves in the foot, both feet and the arm and the face honestly. They had a pipeline into Europe and were really going to continue to be a key player in the world order WHILE continuing to sow deep discord between western nations. Now they have obliterated their economy and united the Western world.

Under Trump:
Thriving economy
No war

Under Biden:
Disaster in Afghanistan
War in Ukraine
Skyrocketing oil
Skyrocketing inflation

As for your 'facts' we were at war under Trump, in Afghanistan. A war Biden ended, a war that was going to be messy to end regardless of who did it. The end of a war that spanned 5 presidential terms?

The sanctions trump put in place were 1) against his will and 2) not nearly as heavy as the sanctions they face today.

The bolded are all a result of PUTIN INVADING UKRAINE not Biden. But I'd like to remind you of Trump's first year when we were all quite afraid of the thread of real nuclear action when Trump was in a schoolyard insult match with Kim Jong Un, or did you forget that?

Inflation is a real problem the Biden administration needs to address.
