His parents gifted him a house that he then sold. So he made 900K and left for Hawaii. |
Can Lina khan do anything for self-centered entitled murderers? |
Made $900K? Wtf math whiz. Only if they paid 100% equity and zero realtor fees to buy and sell it. |
You and many others really don’t get how complex the health system works. Someone told you no and you decided it was their fault. This economist explains it better than I can. https://www.noahpinion.blog/p/insurance-companies-arent-the-main |
Absolutely. The only person who said anything about those “difficulties” is the manager(owner) of that co-living place in Hawaii who was definitely not a close friend. Pure speculation here but a couple of people upthread might be correct that everything points out that he might be gay - and if he was NOT comfortable coming out to others (or even himself) he might have used that line about his back to stop the inquiries. |
People here don’t know how 20% down payments on a $900,000 property work either. |
Huh? I went to Mangione's twitter to get an idea of where he was coming from before this. No idea who this Tom guy is or where he got this info. |
But have you taken them? This is a weird part to get irate and fixated on but ok. Who cares if it was $900,000 or $9,000. He was self funded, running around Hawaii, Japan, NYC and then PA where he was found with like $6,000 in cash and 2,000 in some other currency. He’s not poor. I’m more worried about mentally unstable people that go around shooting people than someone who is bad at math. But you do you. |
Ok, so police nominate the tipster, who gets laid off upon conviction. At least the fbi portion. Don’t know how the nypd pays out |
Dp I’d rather be running around with $900000 than $90000. Duh. I like the no-math figure! |
Once the word gets out that you won’t really be paid, people won’t be as helpful. |
The same UPenn that made Trump, Ivanka Trump, and Don Trump Junior. You just happen to think the “libs” are at fault and see what you have been told to see. |
| I suspect the apologist for the insurance industry who's been posting in this thread all day in fact is an employed wonk with the insurance industry. LOL. |
Wrong. Most people do the right thing. Especially when not in an echo chamber website or college setting. |
Thank you PP, that was an interesting read. As new drugs are developed for diseases that are not common yet cause significant disease burden or death (i.e. spinal muscular atrophy, sickle cell disease, etc.) that literally cost millions per DOSE, it will be interesting to see how that plays out. |
