Think that Indy by 4 is a good call
Just looking at numbers Madison needs to hold Indy to half their normal output and score their average amount to win. While I think they can hold Indy to 8-10 goals, I don’t see the Madison offense getting more than 6 on the Indy D. |
| In case you forgot, number 5 on Madison did not play in the Indy vs Madison scrimmage earlier this year. I think this game will be a lot closer than people think |
Hey - I never used transitive property. I used the head to head property - Riverside beat Robo by 3-4 goals in a scrimmage. |

I am really impressed by Indy over the years. I am pretty disappointed by a lot of other teams and the development and progress of other teams.
Really can point to one thing. Coach at Indy has pulled together and coached majority of this team since they were 7-8 years olds. I hope he stays after this group moves on but I understand the massive commitment he has made to these boys and their families and he probably takes a break. Winning state championships at such a young program is amazing. However, like many have said, the lack of depth and players across the board has rest of the area failing to move forward. If other coaches could put a little more effort into it, maybe the rest of the area could be a little better. I look at club teams in NoVa and its obvious the clubs are not very good and the coaches are in it only to make case not develop players or get more athletes into the sport. Indy likely beats Madison by "several' goals. I have been very disappointed to see the drop off of Madison and Robo this year. I hope other programs get better but it won't happen with a lot of work that needs to start with area youth programs now. Sport has had a drop off and will take some new, motivated coaches to get things back in right direction. |
Agreed, plus given the weird way of writing these I looked back a few pages and this same genius predicted Robo would beat Madison by 2 goals and that Indy would only win by 4 goals, so his predictions have been wildly incorrect in addition to his not knowing how to write them. |
What a daddy ball comment...lol...hey sorry guys, my kid has graduated, adios! What a guy, what a coach.... |
Obviously a kool aid drinker of DW. Indy is going to disappear from the local lax scene and DW will not be missed by the local lax community. Not because his team had success, but for his blatant disrespect of fellow kids, coaches and referees. Not sure you could find anyone outside of the Indy community that would say anything redeeming about his character. Schools like Madison, Robo, Yorktown, Battlefield, Riverside have coaching staffs whose coaches are in it for the long term success of their programs. These schools reload and have been at the op of 6a and 5a year after year. Indy’s run may end with a 6a title but DW and his daddy ball coaching minions who have walked close behind in his footsteps climbing the ladder of DS youth and forcing their way into Indy coaching will no longer be a part of local hs lacrosse. Local hs lax will be better for it. |
| No love for anyone at Indy or anywhere, but it is funny to read the comments and see how much Indy is in your heads. |
Haven't seen Madison play BUT if there FOGO is good (can win ball to himself) then they can beat Indy (who has a weak FOGO but great LSM). |
| Madison runs 3 LSMs on the rope unit |
This is such a stupid comment. Criticizing someone doesn't mean they're in your head, it means you think they're worthy of criticism. It's a complete cop-out to avoid actually dealing with the substance of the criticism. |
| I’ve been around this sport for years, I gotta say I think Stone Bridge takes it against The Side here. We all know Indy didn’t deserve the win against Riverside last year but Stone Bridge will avenge the district and regional championship. Bulldogs by 3. |
