Need name ideas for twins

Anonymous
We already have Jesse and Tamsen.

Pregnant with boy/girl twins. I want to name THEM Jesse and Tamsen because of loving the names so much. We've been trying to come up with ideas but nothing seems to blend well with the names of our existing two kids and strike our fancy. Ideas?

Are Jesse and Tamsen boys or girls?

Bottom line: Do what you want. You're over-thinking this.

You ... want me to give my third and fourth children the same names as my first and second children??? I ... don't think that's such a good idea.

Mary and Joseph, historically the most popular choice for boy/girl twin in the US, you can't go wrong!

We went with names we loved. No theme, no similar letters or sounds, no schtick. Just names we loved. Start going through your name book / site and list the names you really like. Start there.

I too read it as you "you want to name them (the twins) jesse and tamsen. I thought those were your name ideas.

I don't love a Jesses or Tamsen, so choose whatever else YOU like.

If you love the name Tamsen that much I can't help you.

Caleb might be a good boy choice..

Don't like either name.

Do what you want.

People will call her Tammy. Are you cool with that?

PSA:

She already has two children. Their names are Jesse (a boy) and Tamsen (a girl). Now she is pregnant with twins and needs ideas for names for the twins that go with the names of the older two.

She loved the names of the first two and hasn't found any names that she loves as much for the twins that are coming. She wants your help.
