Right? I usually see it spelled "Tamsin," but it's a British name/short form of Thomasina. FFS, there's a Tamsin in Hardy's Return of the Native. And Jesse is in the Bible, for crying out loud.

DH's best friend as a little boy was Jesse and he viewed him as very cool. The second we found out one twin was a boy he suggested Jesse. We have no great back-story for our girl - we just loved the name Tamsen.
