Need name ideas for twins

Anonymous
Well Jesse and Tamsen don't go together so no other names will "go" with them. Pick what you want and maybe find a new name for poor Tamsen.

She already has two children. Their names are Jesse (a boy) and Tamsen (a girl). Now she is pregnant with twins and needs ideas for names for the twins that go with the names of the older two.

She loved the names of the first two and hasn't found any names that she loves as much for the twins that are coming. She wants your help.

Her post is very confusing...

Thanks for the PSA because the op certainly wasn't clear (I want to name THEM Jesse and Tamsen).

Perhaps pick more names that were considered unique in the mid to late 70s and early 80s (like Jesse and Tamsen). Heather and Holden? Craig and Cara? Kevin and Marcy? Evan and Molly?

Thank you for translating. It made perfect sense in my brain!

I love Jesse and Tamsen, I think they're great names.

Some names that I like that I think "go" with Jesse and Tamsen:

Boys: Luke, Daniel, Seth, Micah, Elliott, Evan, Rory, Devin

Girls: Megan, Meredith, Laurel, Kirsten, Claire,

Love these. And yes the op post was unnecessarily confusing. Name them Tessie and Janson. J/k

People will turn "Tamsen" into "Tammy"? Really? OP, do people do that?

No. People have asked if we're calling her Tammy, we say no and they just go about calling her tamsen. Jesse sometimes calls her tam-tam.

Pregnant with boy/girl twins. I want to name THEM Jesse and Tamsen because of loving the names so much. We've been trying to come up with ideas but nothing seems to blend well with the names of our existing two kids and strike our fancy. Ideas?

Bottom line: Do what you want. You're over-thinking this.

You ... want me to give my third and fourth children the same names as my first and second children??? I ... don't think that's such a good idea.

Sorry, I thought these were the names you picked out. (Of course that would simplify things. )
