Well they also didn’t say the NVG’s were NOT a factor. They mentioned them and didn’t exclude their involvement, so I think it definitely concerns them. |
any updates? |
They already released the preliminary report. I doubt we will hear much more until they release the final report which could take a year or more. |
Who was that person they dropped off? Why won't they say? |
I wonder, too. I noticed a WaPo article that says airplanes heading into DCA have to circle for 20+ minutes anytime Trump is going somewhere in Marine One. They were told it was a "VIP transport" or something like that. This article reminded me we never did find out how who they dropped off at the CIA. |
This alone says a lot. I hope none of them return.

Here is a really good discussion on this.

Great video. Guy was stationed at the unit, knows the flight path and crew involved. Said it was a great crew. Most likely helicopter crew did not hear the runway 333 because the last part of the message was cut off. He flew a lot around DC and never saw a landing at 333. When the ATC asked for a second time helicopter slowed down which would have cause it to gain elevation. Also talks about night view goggles not picking up LED lights. Any question you can think of is cover. |
Thank you, finally a good analysis |

Swept under the rug, as expected. What’d it get, 3 or 4 days in the news? |
Another article on the new helicopter ban. So sad it came too late for all those families. But glad they are taking action.

Not that people have died and we have written several reports about it, the government is willing to take action. Typical. Nothing proactive. Always reactive. |
Aviation rules have always been written in blood. |
