My high school kid said that there were not a noticeable number of absences in his classes.

Mine said his largest class was 10 kids (normally would be 30-34). And 1/2 the teachers were subs. |

I'm a teacher. We had 8 staff out of 60 absent but it was a religious holiday for two of them (observant Jews). I believe out count of absent kids was under 200. Some students were with us only part of the day because they had doctors' appointments.
We did service-oriented projects in every class. Awesome day! |

| I work in a school and about 18% of students were absent (a typical day is less than 5%). Only 2 teachers were absent and one was last minute due to an injury. |
