Private, homeschool, move or stfu

Not sure it will even impact us due to AAP. You're so rude, by the way.

Shockingly there are poor people that qualify for AAP. You may want to consider all your options.

Doubt it. Have you ever spoken with one of them?

One of what? "The poor". LOL @ a person on here cosplaying as a rich snob, when the real rich aren't on these forums and couldn't care less about potential boundary changes.

For how many years have you been homeless?

None. Zero. And you?

Maybe you're confused...

It seems very clear to everybody that you are.

Do you still see "everybody" when your eyes are closed? Lay off the acid and read a book.

Lay off the internet and spend Christmas with your family/kids that you pretend to care about.

If you think your kid might be a “pawn” in this possible plan, private school might be an option or a home closer to your desired school.

Your LCD vision of public schools will drive UMC/MC families away.

I wouldn’t be too quick to drive those families out of the school district, because from what I hear the Fcps schools are cash strapped, and man are those state wide vouchers going to cut deep in Fcps.

All you equity warriors may want to stop and think for a moment before you screw up the entire county.

+1
Some of us have roots on both coasts and are ready to move in the blink of an eye. Say goodbye to our taxes.

Don’t wait, leave now!

Your home will be repurchased quickly, so no worries about the taxes.

FCPS would be better off without parents like you.

DP. All we hear from the equity pushers is that you desperately need our kids. Make up your minds already.
🙄

The family of a similar economic status who can afford your house will do just as well. Your kid is very replaceable in this equation.

Who said I’m moving? Womp womp. My kids won’t be replaced by anyone, and then we’ll starve the schools of voucher money. Good luck with the downward spiral!

Oh good! Pull your voucher funding and starve the local schools that determine your house value when you go to sell. Great plan! WOMP WOMP WOMP

Anonymous wrote:Wait - why can’t they figure out scheduling for a class with an enrollment less than 20? I went to a good if somewhat small HS (graduating classes around 350), not every kid did AP’s, and some of the AP sections were quite small with around 12 students but they were still on the schedule every year. That sounds like an FCPS problem if they can’t figure that out. Not something to just throw additional kids at the school and hope it works.

I agree.

My AP classes had about 12 students. My senior year AP language class was less than ten children.

You'll find trolls appear when you turn off your device/look at anything reflective.

Cute.

1) Why have the dem-controlled school boards these past decades been so busy oppressing kids across the county?

2) Why in a solidly blue county, does the 100% dem school board not have the courage to plainly state to the public exactly how it has been acting oppressive, the material consequences of that oppression and how public school parents can cooperate with them to end said oppression? If they lay it out, I am sure the people will be with them.

Considering my dd is in local level IV at a title 1 school yes.

LL4 is a joke. Sorry you didn't make the AAP cut.

Yeah my DD scores 99 percentile on every iready she has ever taken. We chose to stay local because we aren't scared of "poor" people and my kids will thrive no matter where they are.

No, she doesn't, and neither do you. Know intelligence doesn't change and she won't improve as she gets older. Can't imagine having a kid not in AAP. Really hard to catch up.

Local level IV is the exact same curriculum. And yes she does. Sorry she is smarter than your kids. Also I would much rather her go to school with kids that happen to be immigrants than entitled asshats that you are clearly raising.

You think immigrants can't be that?

What is this referring to? I literally have no idea what this is referring to. Not joking, not sarcasm.
