I read Nick Fuentes went on a rant against Kirk recently. I am really think the shooter is a Groyper and the bullet casing meme references check with that.

Fuentes last night. He knows...

He was not an extremist, far right, polarising.

Please. Stop reaching.

The guy had been radicalized and killed someone who had very different ideology from him. Not a Maga. Not a trans. Just a messed up kid that thought Charlie Kirk was some some sort of villain.

Stop villainizing people that have different political views as you.

You mean like the POTUS does? The GOP politicians screaming threats before a shooter was even found.

Spare me your hypocrisy. You are the one who won't face the facts.

Do we want to talk who commits the most murders in this country per capita now?

Sure, let’s have that discussion! You first.

That’s the exact whataboutism that Kirk was pushing when he was shot.

PP asked about an irrelevantly large population. Everybody.

If we narrow it to extremist killings, the Anti-Defamation League has an answer. THE RIGHT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF THEM FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS!

"The ADL Center on Extremism’s annual Murder and Extremism report also found that all extremist-related killings of 2024 were connected to right-wing extremism, with eight of the 13 killings involving white supremacists and the remaining five having connections to far-right anti-government extremists. This is the third year in a row that right-wing extremists have been connected to all identified extremist-related killings."

I know . . .the ADL is a pro-palestinian radical leftist group.

Wait, in July of 2024 an in innocent bystander was killed in the attempt on Trump’s life in Pennsylvania.

Either your source of info does not consider that killing an “extremist killing” or they are interpreting it as coming from the “right”.

Either way, yiu cannot possibly take that source seriously.

That attack was right-on-right violence, you've been consuming lies.

Maybe the new theory should be -

It doesn't matter if the shooter was conservative or liberal.
It doesn't matter if the shooter was gay or straight.
It doesn't matter if the shooter was cisgender or transgender.
It matters that the shooter shot, and killed someone.
It matters that the shooter had unlimited access to guns and ammo.

---------------------

But of course that will never matter, because that will never change.

Ok, I am admitting I have no idea what that cartoon is about.

Neither do I.

Me either. Had to ask my teenager. It’s a reference to incels. It has zero political meaning.

Referencing incels has A LOT of political meaning. Nick Fuentes is the incel leader.

Me either, but, according to pps, that makes us bad parents.

I don't think you're a bad parent, I just wonder what the hell is going on... if your kid is a murderer there's nothing you can do but help them face the consequences, seek forgiveness and try for rehabilitation.

On the most practical level, they're safer in the justice system, going through the process with a good lawyer than they are on the outside facing vigilante justice or, like Joran Van der Sloot becoming a magnet for grifters and weirdos.

Any attempt to explain it makes me seem immoral, although it doesn't feel wrong to protect my child in that way. I'm pretty sure neither of us will be in that position, thankfully.

To me, protecting your child includes helping them own up to their mistakes.

Turning your kid in for a cash reward and refusing to help them hire an attorney, never visiting, testifying against them, etc. that would be a betrayal. Helping them to do the right thing, even if it's hard, is the right thing to do and as a parent that's what you should want.

If my kid could live with it and get away clean, I'd want them to be free. I grew up differently than you, my kids and most people. That probably colors my impression of what I would do in this completely hypothetical situation.

He was a left wing nut job and it will all come out. Just stop lying.

These are all video game references, moron.

And do you think he killed CK because he wanted to make a statement about video game references? Or is it possible that he curated the references along a theme? Just spit-balling here but I think there might be a theme. And it's decidedly not a MAGA theme.

The problem right here is that so many of us don't understand this world that these young men are living in online. I can't say you're ignorance is astounding because I don't blame you for not knowing. But I do blame you for is actively not trying to learn and listen. Digging in is so so bad

You don't think any of those things but wanted a passive-aggressive way to avoid responding. I do agree, however, that digging in is so so bad. Just because young men are steeped in the internet doesn't mean that the things they say mean nothing. That's like saying the only thing my words have in common is that they are spoken in English. Just because he speaks Internet doesn't mean he isn't saying something in Internetese. Why is it so hard to accept that he was spouting a series of anti-fascist sentiments, and that this suggests a motive?

Click into the 14:34 post if you genuinely want to learn. I’m not sure if you do or don’t, though since you’re hanging onto this fascist thing.

So why did he say so many extremist right wing things? Read the thread, you can see many.

I did mean what I said, but you coninue proving my point. I have an 18 year old son who thankfully did not go down this rabbit hole, but some of his friends did. And I teach college freshmen. It is my job to know what these things are so I know what is going on with my son, his peers, and my students.

Like Fuentes and groypers and internet memes and all manner of stuff that is unrelated to this tragedy (Goggins, Liver king, Hustlers University, wojacks).

Do you know what these are? Because I do and that's why at the moment, your premise doesn't hold water. The game is literally played from the perpective of "soldiers" spreading authoritarianism. You are playing to uphold a fascist state.

Are you willing to learn and to see this world, or do you want to bury your head some more.

These Groypers think so

Please help this out-of-it middle aged mom out. WTH does anything in this tweet / post mean??

4chan is an anonymous Internet forum that tends to lean towards edgier content. Nick Fuentes is an alt right podcaster with some fairly intense views, to the right of Charlie Kirk. Groypers are followers of Nick Fuentes and have created their own little subculture. They did not like Charlie Kirk because his views weren’t intense enough, but the feud (groyper war) was done in a fake way, and wasn’t meant to get violent. Long story short check your childrens internet history every once in a while.
