ECNL forcing Brave & Union Partnership

Why would they forfeit? Why everyone is focused on winning and losing? This is not Real Madrid or Manchester City or even an average MLS/NWSL team. It is youth soccer where development matters the most. If the club provides a good platform like ECNL or GA go for it and focus on your own DD or DS development as a soccer player. Everyone chill out. Go page 251!!

0-4 Beach

Charlotte SA next which will likely be a loss and Arl again in the schedule.

If i am a Braves parent I'd be wondering why FVU didn't take more Braves. Maybe this team will be better in 2-3 years when new player cycle thru but next year this might be worst team in VA.

But wins and losses aren't everything, what about development? Maybe a parent from the team can say.

How many girls from Brave made FVU?

Very few.4 or 5

Not at all what I expected given their similar records. But in fairness I haven’t seen either team play.

The real question is where will the girls who did not make FVU go?

The team will be more than fine no matter how much you want it to not be. Time to move on.

Thanks coach!

I love the “trust us” comments from coach. Union and Brave are great. FVU will be even greater. Nothing more to see or discuss.

Unless you are a parent to a 2011 Union girl, why do you care? It is weird to be this invested in 13 year old girls that are no relation to you.

If You are a parent, just have your DD tryout somewhere else if you don't like how things are going.

This doesn’t make sense given the quality of the two teams. Why so Union biased?

Yes, they're having a rough few games scoring. The girls are 13, they'll continue to improve. They also beat Charlotte SA the first time around so no reason to call that a loss.

Now they have one player out injured and have lost 4 in a row without scoring. No matter how good one player is, they’re not making up for these beat downs. Obviously all of the FVU parents want this to succeed but the writings on the wall for everyone to see. Best of luck next year to those staying at FVU…just hope the ECNL admin doesn’t pull the rug out from underneath of you in a year or two and there’s no team left. And I guess the previous poster who was commenting about how their “one injured” player would make all of the difference in the world (which clearly isn’t true lol) and that’s the reason for unions 2011g debacle, also understands that other teams have injuries too and maybe that’s why the other teams have losses too? Having said that, NVA at the 2011g age group is a 1000x’s better team than unions lol!

NVA 2011G are ranked below both Union and BRAVE.

Probably more important what the records were at time of tryouts, not now.

Soccer Rankings still shows Union to be slightly stronger than Brave at 2011.

Maybe there are kids from other clubs too, so all the remaining are not Union?

Sadly, politics. There were very good players that should have made it. Others left before anything, but still......

NVA beat you 3-0 and 3-1, aggregate of 6-1! If you can’t do the math there you should be where you’re at and stay there lol! Rankings don’t mean squat but clearly NVA is head and shoulders above Union at least at the 2011 girls age group…hysterical how out of sorts some of these Union parents are. My guess is the best down will be even worse next year based on the team they’re forming over at FVU for the 2011G, time will tell…

I'm not NVA but I have seen them play incl Jeff Cup. They are bigger stronger and tougher than Union regardless of current standing. The head to head shows the true difference and NVA end of season standing will be higher.

Don’t believe any non VA Union or Brave girls made the team. Way to much politics to take an “outsider” this year.

NVA is head and shoulders above Union at every age group.
