ECNL forcing Brave & Union Partnership

Union 11 with another loss 3-0 to Beach. Look like they aren’t doing great. The merger will hurt them more next year.

There is no merger. Union dissolves after this season. What are you talking about? FVU is not Union. It is an entirely new ECNL team, albeit with some former Union players

The team will be more than fine no matter how much you want it to not be. Time to move on.

Would you say the team has been fine this year?

Thanks coach!

I love the “trust us” comments from coach. Union and Brave are great. FVU will be even greater. Nothing more to see or discuss.

Last four results
0-3 NVA
0-2 Brave
0-5 Arl
0-4 Beach

Charlotte SA next which will likely be a loss and Arl again in the schedule.

If i am a Braves parent I'd be wondering why FVU didn't take more Braves. Maybe this team will be better in 2-3 years when new player cycle thru but next year this might be worst team in VA.

But wins and losses aren't everything, what about development? Maybe a parent from the team can say.

Thanks NVA parent whose team sits in last place out of the VA teams right now. And that’s even after Union suffered major injuries and merger drama.

Stop with the nonsense. Just focus on your own DD’s development.

We will see who will be on the bottom after all games are played.

What is development definition anyway? I don’t think clubs develop anything. They just keep recruiting ready players. Development is what the kid does outside of the club. Club is all about politics and some below par team training. That applies to all clubs at least in the DMV area. Just my 2 cents

Not sure what all you’re talking about with 2011G injuries. They had one girl out when they lost to NVA 3-1 and they lost several other games too. Now they have one player out injured and have lost 4 in a row without scoring. No matter how good one player is, they’re not making up for these beat downs. Obviously all of the FVU parents want this to succeed but the writings on the wall for everyone to see. Best of luck next year to those staying at FVU…just hope the ECNL admin doesn’t pull the rug out from underneath of you in a year or two and there’s no team left. And I guess the previous poster who was commenting about how their “one injured” player would make all of the difference in the world (which clearly isn’t true lol) and that’s the reason for unions 2011g debacle, also understands that other teams have injuries too and maybe that’s why the other teams have losses too? Having said that, NVA at the 2011g age group is a 1000x’s better team than unions lol!

Your last sentence alone should have you barred from ever posting on this forum again.

How many FVU parents forfeit their deposit and go elsewhere and where would they go?
