Source please? Lol

I see the women will take over this thread.

Hey, for as much as these DA parents keep demanding more and more sources, we could use one for their wild pieces of input

CCL was having a hard time filling teams with CCL and CCL2. This should help. NPL is the new ECNL Regional League and they might see a initial influx but when the new next shiny thing comes out they will have the most to lose.

Maybe the clubs they shutout of leagues and blackballed will return the favor.

There is no way ECNl would not take FCV under current circumstances with the DA just shutting down during a pandemic. There is a moral issue here. Also FCV has incredible facilities that can be useful. Arlington will also be let in. What do people think about Metro?

This is good news. Trim the fat and have one elite league with the best players.

That will suck. Much more travel. Enjoy weekend games in Ohio and the Carolinas.

Yes. When the f@ck will they learn?

There are enough top teams in a 30 mile radius to keep league play local.

Save travel only for a tournament or regional/national.

Let’s use this opportunity to cut the horsesh@t.

I don’t know how anyone let’s in Metro. Weren’t they struggling before all of this? Not an elite club for sure.

Agree. Would be so much easier for people with multiple kids. FCV and Arlington are good clubs and Metro older ages is very competitive.

If you’ve been around long enough, you will see soccer is cyclical in the US.

No exactly but again in world of COVID not a bad thing to only have large travel for showcases.

I agree with you, I wouldn’t mind seeing FCV in Arlington in our conference, quality competition.

No way FCV, Metro United, and Arlington all get into ECNL. Never. Teams or entire clubs will blow up.

So, Metro isn’t very good developing?

Have open fair, non-biased tryouts when soccer is allowed to start up in 2021. Clean slate.

Current players are going to be drastically different by then— physically, technically and mentally when things start up.

A year out of soccer and you can’t rely on old teams. You need to be looking at the player right in front of your eyes.

Major re-set needed, not status quo.
