This family is seriously made of Teflon. |
PP only asked about statements. |
OK. Now I'm asking about actions. |
But the facts have now changed. The Russian lawyer says Trump approached them with the request. So I call and raise you one. |
At this point, the GOP NEEDS to detract from the healthcare bill. Wildly unpopular, even among the GOP, and going nowhere. They should be eager to change the subject. |
For all the Teflon pans I bought (and I eventually stopped buying them), the Teflon wore off, sooner or later. Sooner would be good, here. In fact, right now would be good. |
They might be grateful to change the subject from Russia to the health care bill...? |
In business, yes. A whole lot on money to spend on lawyers will do that. But government doesn't works that way. Money still talks. But, in government, you can't just do whatever the f--k pops into your head, and write a check if things go badly. |
You are raising me anything. The fact that someone wants a position supported doesn't make them a Trumpster. If additional info comes out that Trump (or his minions) solicited it, fine. Prosecute for that too. I simply pointed out that your expert didn't support his own arguments. And, in fact, contradicted them. That's not how you make a case. |
This. And these fake claims will keep coming. Americans will ignore those who will not let our elected officials take the necessary steps to save our Republic. I think you all ought to take a moment to search FEC records yourselves. I mean it. |
You can't do that in business either. WTF are you talking about?!?! Oh, I'm sorry, I mean some do and think they are getting away with it. I see you. |
A nothing burger is made from a Mos-Cow. |
If the info would incriminate Clinton, wouldn't this simply be a move by Russia to keep a criminal out of the White House? Sounds like positive political behavior to me. |

Reince was likely at this meeting as well, or listening in. |
They ought to be thinking about proving they can govern. Healthcare has been a train wreck that they can't seem to clear off the tracks. Nothing has happened on tax reform or debt limit or a budget. Don't see how they can also get away with ignoring this. At some point, even the base is going to start wondering how they can control all the branches and not move any policy forward. This distraction is not going away and they need to get a grip and clean it up. |
