Where are the GOP statements of "this is very disturbing" OR "I find this troubling." All I hear are crickets.
http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/341460-graham-trump-jr-emails-disturbing-and-very-problematic http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/mccain-another-shoe-needs-to-be-pursued
Where are the GOP actual actions?
GOP has no political points to gain by taking action. It'll just detract them from the healthcare bill agenda that is on deck.
At this point, the GOP NEEDS to detract from the healthcare bill. Wildly unpopular, even among the GOP, and going nowhere. They should be eager to change the subject.
They might be grateful to change the subject from Russia to the health care bill...?
They ought to be thinking about proving they can govern. Healthcare has been a train wreck that they can't seem to clear off the tracks. Nothing has happened on tax reform or debt limit or a budget. Don't see how they can also get away with ignoring this. At some point, even the base is going to start wondering how they can control all the branches and not move any policy forward. This distraction is not going away and they need to get a grip and clean it up.
