Honestly though, staying with a man for 14 years with no ring? You have only yourself to blame for that one

I remember reading a few years ago when they were in NOLA that Angelina sort of unschools/unpainted the children, there is little structure and they run the show. They decide what they want to do, eat, when to go to bed, etc. This type of parenting philosophy is quite controversial. If Brad has a more traditional parenting philosophy, there is no way IMO those two parents can agree on anything. For example, the children were reported to frequent convenience stores and fast food joints with Angelina where they would run around and in DCUM world be totally out of control, Angelina would buy them whatever junk food they wanted in large quantities and they would make quite a circus. This could be an example of a different problem. I know people who parent like this, and if both parents aren't on board, the marriage greatly suffers.

eh, I don't think that's true. If they lived together, attended events together and were a known "item"....he was taken. And Jen should have respected that the man was taken. But if he was off doing his own thing a lot, had his own place near the set, he may have given the impression to Jen that he was available. And, really, Heidi should have known...

It sounds as though he wasn't completely honest with Heidi though, so maybe he wasn't completely honest with Jen, too? The one upside to not putting a ring on it is that when it's over, it's over. You can just end it right then and there - that day. At least there won't be a messy divorce, kids, etc.

Her career is on the down slide and now she is just interested in making sure that she still has a steady stream of income so that she can continue to spend lavishly and save the unenlightened world from itself. Brad can fork over the money to support the kids who will live with Angeline full time and he will still have 50% of the responsibility for them....although she will be the one calling the shots.
