eh, I don't think that's true.  If they lived together, attended events together and were a known "item"....he was taken.  And Jen should have respected that the man was taken.  But if he was off doing his own thing a lot, had his own place near the set, he may have given the impression to Jen that he was available.  And, really, Heidi should have known...

It sounds as though he wasn't completely honest with Heidi though, so maybe he wasn't completely honest with Jen, too?  The one upside to not putting a ring on it is that when it's over, it's over. You can just end it right then and there - that day.  At least there won't be a messy divorce, kids, etc.[/quote]
