Yes, it was the Torpedo of Truth. I googled it and found he had it going by April 2011 (he bombed at a show in Detroit in April 2011). That date is consistent with him getting fired from 2.5 Men in March. As I recall, he and Chuck Lorre had started a rather public battle before he was finally fired in March 2011.


Thinking about all this now, I'd say he probably didn't know he was HIV positive when he was fired from 2.5 Men. I *think* that all the Tiger Blood/WINNING! nonsense started due to the problems at 2.5 Men with Lorre. But that's just a guess. I could easily be wrong.

And it's very possible that he found out he WAS HIV positive during this "nonsense" and that just escalated everything....

Not really. Since he is HIV+, the smoking is a significantly bigger problem than if he wasn't HIV+ (like you).

Addiction. There were a lot of people using in the 80s and it was basically a Russian roulette. Some of them were able to walk away from it without much fallout--in others, it triggered a deep seated addiction and probably some neurological damage.
That's the problem with drug experimentation--you don't really know where you'll fall until it's too late. It happened to people I know. It's very sad.

Magic is bisexual. One of his closest "friends" right before he was diagnosed was an extremely effeminate member of a pop group. That guy died of AIDS a few years later. Even before Magic was diagnosed, rumors flew about how often he frequented gay clubs in Miami. After he was diagnosed and practically deified, you couldn't say anything about how he contracted HIV without being shouted down and turned into a pariah. One of his former "friends" tried to write a book and no one would give him a deal. If he had lived long enough for the internet to be a thing, he would have probably self published. Charlie Sheen is bipolar. If you watch his "winning" interview, it's really clear. The rest of the kids didn't get the genes for bipolar and turned out okay.

Could Jenny Mcarthy just STFU? She said that she is angry because she acted with him on 2 and a Half Men and he didn't disclose his HIV status to her before that gig. She apparently thinks she has some sort of risk from being on the same set with him.

She is such an ignorant cow. Her risk for getting HIV from Sheen while on the set with him was pretty much zero, even if they kissed. You don't get HIV that easily.

It's his crazy off the rails, unsafe behavior that got him infected. It doesn't even matter who he caught it from and that is really besides the point. Sheen is the one who put himself at risk and he needs to own that. At this point, it doesn't sound as though he is blaming anyone else for him contracting the disease, he is only upset that some of these sex trade liaisons were blackmailing him.
